The nutritional requirements is an important basis for the development of horse breeding standards. However, horse breeding standards has not developed in China yet. The thesis is study the effects of digestion and metabolism by different concentrate to forage ration diet for the half-year, yearing and two years old Yili horse stallion, then determined the nutrition requirements of Yili horse, and provide reference data for Yili horse achieve scientific breeding.Experiment 1: According to similar weight, 20 horses(weaned half-yearing old) were randomly divided into 4 groups, each group of 5. All the horses were fed crushed alfalfa 4 kg/d, and concentrate supplement(g/d) was 400, 600, 800, 1000. The results showed that: The ADG of half-yearing horses is gradual increase. Group IV daily gain is 0.94 kg/d. Group III CP, ADF, Ca and P digestibility is the highest. Ca retention, retention rates is upward trend. P retention, retention rates increased first and then decreased. Conclusion: The requirement of DP for half-yearing Yili horse is 10.18 g/kg BW0.75,liner fitting curve equation of N intake and N reservation is Y=0.5065X- 0.7576(R2=0.6494), CP digestibility was maintained at 70%. The requirement of digestible energy is 1.45-1.57 MJ/kg BW0.75, liner fitting curve equation of energy and metabolism intake is Y=0.4035X-2.661(R2=0.4035). The requirement of Ca is 971 mg/kg BW0.75,liner fitting curve equation of Ca intake and Ca reservation is Y=0.6186X-208.25(R2=0.7033). The requirement of P is 150 mg/kg BW0.75.Experiment 2: According to similar weight, 16 yearling Yili horses were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups, each group of 8. Take the stage grouping methods for digestion and metabolism experiment. The first period was divided into group I(concentration to forage ratio=0: 100) and group II(concentration to forage ratio=12.5:87.5). The second period was divided into group III(concentration to forage ratio=21.25:78.75) and group IV(concentration to forage ratio=30:70). The results showed that: With the improvement of concentrate to forage ration, DM, OM, CP, P digestion amount(rate) has varying extent improvement. N retention respectively increase 39.78%(P<0.05), 90.57%(P<0.01) and 86.54%(P<0.01). P retention rate respectively increase 51.67%, 87.35% and 88.36%. Conclusion: The requirement of DP for one year Yili horse is 8.87 g/kg BW0.75, liner fitting curve equation of N intake and N reservation is Y=0.9435X-1.5702(R2=0.3701). The requirement of digestible energy is 1.79 MJ/kg BW0.75. The requirement of Ca is 1035 mg/kg BW0.75, liner fitting curve equation of Ca intake and Ca reservation is Y=0.9958X-630.68(R2=0.7033). The requirement of P is 150 mg/kg BW0.75, liner fitting curve equation of P intake and P reservation is Y=0.4479X-43.818(R2=0.8934).Experiment 3: According to similar weight, 16 two years old Yili horses were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups, each group of 8. Take the stage grouping methods for digestion and metabolism test. The first period was divided into group I(concentration to forage ratio= 0:100) and group II(concentration to forage ratio=7.8:92.2). The second period was divided into group III(concentration to forage ratio=18.9:88.1) and group IV(concentration to forage ratio=26.7:63.3). The results showed that: DM and OM digestion amount(rate) have not obvious change. Urinary energy, digestible energy and metabolic energy have not obvious change(P>0.05). CP, P digestion amount(rate) is increasing with the increase of concentrate to forage ration. N, P retention and retention increased first and then decreased. Conclusion: The requirement of DP for two years old Yili horse is 8.89 g/kg BW0.75, liner fitting curve equation of N intake and N reservation is Y=1.1722X-1.9948(R2=0.4916). The requirement of digestible energy is 1.76 MJ/kg BW0.75. The requirement of Ca is 995 mg/kg BW0.75, liner fitting curve equation of Ca intake and Ca reservation is Y=0.8515X-526.87(R2=0.3554). The requirement of P is 389 mg/kg BW0.75, liner fitting curve equation of P intake and P reservation is Y=0.3818X-30.703(R2=0.8054).
