Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge, which belongs to the genus Xanthoceras, the family Sapindacae, is an andromonoecious tree species of China. It is one of indigenous oleaginous and afforestation plants in North China. It is also valuable in medical use which has very important economic value. Nowadays most reproduction of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge may achieved by seeding, while by seeding the production can’t meet the need of the market. This study optimizes the tissue culture and rapid-proliferation techniques of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge, thus laying a technical guidance for commercial producing large-scale seedlings, relaxing the contradiction between the Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge supply and demand. The conclusions are listed as follows:1 The disinfection of explants:The best sterilizing method for tender sterns was disinfected with 75% ethanol for15s, then treated with 0.1%HgCl2for 5min; The best sterilizing method for tender leaves was disinfected with 75%ethanol for 15s, then treated with 0.1%HgCl2for 6min;2 Sampling season:While the date of sampling was during April 20, the contamination rate reaches the lowest while the budding rate reaches the highest.3 Low temperature:Put the tender stem in 4℃ for 16h and the leaf for 20 hours can reduce the browning rate to a great extent.4 Primary culture:The optimal medium for tender stem is MS+2.0mg/L 6-BA+1.0mg/L IBA+0.5mg/L KT+0.3mg/L NAA, and for leaf MS+2.0mg/L 6-BA+0.2mg/L NAA +1.Omg/L 2,4-D+2.5mg/L KT5 Subculture proliferation:The optimal medium:MS+0.8 mg/L 6-BA+1.0 mg/L NAA+1.0~2.0mg/L GA3+0.05~1.00mg/L IBA;Optimal sucrose density:30g/L6 Rooting culture:The optimal medium for rooting:1/2MS+0.5mg/L 6-BA+0.8mg/L IAA+0.8mg/L IBA+1.2mg/L NAA+5g/L+AgNO31.0g/L+paclobutrazol+0.5g/L+rooting powder2.0g/L...
