Because of hiding in trunk and branch for a long time, Coleoptera were difficult to be controlled by chemical pesticides. The development of effective prevention technology had become one of the most potential measures to control this kind of beetles, especially the attractant technology. In the article, by using two kinds of traps:Lindgren funnel trap and four kinds of coloured intercept panel traps captured insects in field. Luring effect and trapped adults were compared in different conditions i.e. trap, colour and botanical attractant. Analyse community composition, richness index, dominance index, diversity index, evenness index and dominant concentration of trapping beetles. In order to provide theoretical basis for Coleoptera monitoring and forecasting. Mostly research result was as follows:1.Two kinds of traps captured 3525 Coleoptera total. Among these beetles, Lindgren funnel trap captured 3019 Coleoptera and intercept panel traps captured 507 Coleoptera. The pests of Scolytidae were 48.93% of the total Coleoptera beetles and were dominant beetls, mainly Scolytoplatypus sp.. The shape, color and material of traps can affect the trapping effect. Comparing between two kinds of traps, the trapping effect of Lindgren funnel trap was obviously better than intercept panel traps, especially to Scolytidae. This was related with the funnel trap structure.Yellow intercept panel trap have the most attractive to Ophthalmoserica rosinae:purple intercept panel trap have the most attractive to Nicrophorus maculifrons; green intercept panel trap have the most attractive to Dolichus halensis flavicornis.2.Comparing among three kinds of botanical attractants, the UHR attractant had more attractive to most Coleoptera, especially to Xyleborus dispar and S. sp.. The COB attractant had more attractive to Staphylinidae. Multiple-funnel traps baited with the Ultra high release (UHR) ethanol may be highly effective for monitoring various Coleoptera beetles, and may had significance in trapping and develop new lures. The trap effects of two locations were Laoshan station>Northeast Forestry University forest. The chemical attractants seem to have different efficacies in different geographical areas.3.A total of 3215 specimens were collected in three kinds of habitats, belonging to 55 families and 233 species. They had different dominant beetls in the three kinds of habitats. Richness index and individual number were the highest in LaoShan Experimental Forest, but diversity index was low. Richness index, diversity index and dominance index were low in Harbin botanical garden. Diversity index was high in Forest of Northeast Forestry University. Environmental and biological can affect the diversity of Coleoptera, especially the impact of human activities is relatively large. Insects diversity of traps captured was closely related to the Community of insect in ecological system. We can use different trapping technology lure insects. It not only could be used as the insect trapping method, but also could be used as a monitoring method of insect population in ecology system.
