Forest habitat means an environment helps plants grow, including climate, topography, soil, and other factors. These factors affect the plants types and forest productivity, which brings an important, complex, long-term impact on the whole forest ecosystem. With a continuous observation about the forest habitat factors, scientific evaluation of forest habitat is based on factors in many aspects, which guides and promotes the sustainable development of forest resources. Information management of forest resources is benefit from the observation and evaluation. Besides,it offers accurate evidence for forestry managers conveniently and uniformity.This paper studies the acquisition of forest habitat factors and evaluation of forest habitats. The Internet of things will be applied to forest habitat factors monitoring. The core of monitoring system consists of a plurality of types of sensors, building a ZigBee wireless network with ZigBee technology. Combining with Internet of things gateway, it accomplishes forestry habitats monitoring cheaply, efficiently and Continuously. We researched an real-time detection algorithm for anomaly data, which is based on Autoregressive model. Using this algorithm to detect and process data in real-time, ensure the data accurate and predict forest emergency effectively. According to the store and analysis on statistics, researching the method of forest habitats evaluation. We selected seven site conditions and three habitat management factors to construct the habitat evaluation models of larch plantation grown at the Mengjiagang forest farm, Jiamusi city, Heilongjiang province, China, by using Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process, and calculated the weights of various indicators based on the identified hierarchical structures of the models. We constructed plantation habitat evaluation models ultimately. Based on the above method reserches, the system consists of two subsystems.One is forestry acquisition and monitoring platforms, and the orther is forestry habitats evaluation subsystem. B/S mode is used in total system, with J2EE architecture developing. MySQL database is as the underlying data, to support the site in the form of an interactive interface for integrated service platform.
