The soil testing formula fertilization, as well as the precise fertilization,was the main contents of the precision agriculture and provided the significant meaning for improving fertilizer use efficiency, reducing fertilizer waste and protection the agricultural ecological environment. It was also the assurance of agricultural products quality and safety and the achievement of the agriculture sustainable development. Therefore, the fertilization recommendation system constructed on the soil testing fertilization technology utilizing the information technology had been widely used in production and impacted the production significantly. Mobile computing was the technology developed along with the development of mobile communications, Internet, databases and distributed computing technologies. Following the rapid development of mobile intelligent terminal, the calculation and data processing of the distributed computing technology was more and more transferred to the thin client. Hence, takes the full advantage of the mobile computing technology, the distributed application will be provided more configurable, configurable and customizable. It also made the traditional soil testing and fertilization recommendation system running on the embedded devices including high-performance and low-cost mobile intelligent terminals possible. In the basis of the Android system for mobile smart devices, employing the GIS, GPS and Web Service technology, the county territory soil testing formula and fertilization recommendation system based on mobile computing was established in this article.The main contents as follow:1. The design of the system architecture of the county territory soil testing and fertilization recommendation system based on mobile computing: The 2-level function model and function distribution model with central node and application node was also established. Moreover, the storage strategy of the entity data was defined in this paper.2. The design of the data model and data interaction: The design of the database model based on SQLite provided the data caching for the mobile node. The data interactive model based on the Observer data model was built to provide the data interaction between the mobile application nodes and the center node. The visual exhibition of the sampling points based on the Baidu map LBS design provided the visual operation for farmers.3. Using the data interpolation based on K-D tree near to the algorithm, the soil nutrient interpolation algorithm based on the inverse distance weighted interpolation method was constructed. Using GPS positioning information, the calculus of interpolation for the soil nutrients of any random point was implemented. Based on the 1000 test data of the soil nutrient in henan province,anyang city, hua county in 2009-2010, through the contrast experiment, the maximum relative error of the interpolation data was 1.629821, the minimum value was 0.001302083. The average value of the time consumption was 5s. The results showed that the method could satisfy the real-time calculation requirement of soil nutrient data on mobile intelligent terminals.4. According to wheat production target, working with the technicists of the station for popularizing agricultural technique in henan province, anyang city, hua county,adopting the nutrient balance method, the soil testing formula and fertilization recommendation knowledge model for wheat production suited the Hua county was established. On the basis of the android technical framework, the county territory soil testing formula and fertilization recommendation system based on mobile computing was built to provide the functions such as the land parcel information query, data statistics and analysis, precise fertilization decision and so on. Through the usage of the technicists and the producers in Hua county, the system could meet the local production condition of Hua county.The establishment of the county territory soil testing formula and fertilization recommendation system based on mobile computing took the advantages of the mobile computing and the soil testing formula technology and realized the field location query for the soil nutrient and recommended fertilization in any region through the intelligent mobile platform by the users. The system made vast farmers to use the new technology and achievements of the soil testing formula fertilization more conveniently and had the actual value for guiding agricultural science and production of farmers.
