Hebei is one of the largest provinces of medicinal plants. With the increasing demand of medicinal plant resource, the threaten of medicinal plants is also growing. Even more, some resources are almost drying up. So, it is very important to promote the standardization and normalization of planting medicinal plants. Through the on-the-spot investigation of Anguo, a large number of related data, as well as the seed germination of part of the medicinal plant, the paper summarize medicinal plant germplasm resources in Hebei province, provide a reference for diversity research and artificial cultivation of medicinal plants, also provide theoretical basis for the protection of the endangered medicinal plants. The results showed:1. Hebei province contains 1716 kinds of Chinese herbal medicine resources, 1442 kinds of medicinal plants. 93 species of medicinal plants are endangered. A total of 43 families, 71 genus. 34 species are vulnerable, 40 species are endangered and 19 species are critically endangered. Preliminary statistics out 73 families, 73 genus, 204 species medicinal plants which have been planted in Hebei province. 16 species medicinal plants are mass and native. And through the analysis of families and genus, we found out the diversity and universality of medicinal plant of Hebei province.2. Draw the distribution of main local medicinal plants which grow a lot and analyze the construction and planting patterns of GAP bases of medicinal plants in Hebei province. It provide the reference for farmers to choose the suitable medicinal plants and GAP bases.3. Eventually bibulous rate, seed vigor, germination rate and germination potential of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Scutellaria baicalensis and Atractylodes macrocephala seeds present a certain regularity: Glycyrrhiza uralensis > Scutellaria baicalensis > Atractylodes macrocephala. The activity of CAT, POD and the content of the soluble protein researches of Glycyrrhiza uralensis and Scutellaria baicalensis seeds show that CAT and POD content are increased after decreased first, and the content of the soluble protein gradually decrease over time.
