Yak is known as "the plateau of the boat", and its survival environment is high and low oxygen, The center of yak’s distribution is the Qinghai-Tibetan plateau. It is the important source of draught animals and economy in pastoral area. The spleen is the largest secondary immune organ in the body and is responsible for initiating immune reactions to blood-borne antigens and forfiltering the blood of foreign material and old or damaged red blood cells. The morphology and structure of the spleen in mammals and non mammals are reported, and the relationship between the blood circulation and the immune function of the animal in the spleen is also studied. Our subject group has been reported on Yak immune organ thymus and spleen tissue structure characteristics of clarify, in the spleen of yak red cells scattered in distribution, electron microscope observation without complete of the sinus wall structure, and therefore belong to non sinus of spleen, the spleen storing large amount of blood, also known as for storage of spleen. However, to build a branch on the characteristics of yak splenic vasculature and micro blood vessels, so far no reports at home and abroad. This experiment aimed at of adult yak splenic vascular morphology features, for studies of the function of the spleen to provide morphological basis, for alpine hypoxia animals in adaptive immunity research lay the histological basis. This experiment collected yak spleen samples were anatomy, the ABS casts of the scanning electron microscope observation:(1) using gross anatomical method observation of spleen in Yak of vascular origin, spleen vascular distribution direction.(2) ABS pipeline perfusion technique was used to produce the blood vessel cast specimen of yak.(3) using scanning electron microscopy to observe the microvascular structure of Yak’s spleen and observe the record of the structure.. Results show that: 1. Adult yak spleen blood access: Splenic artery â†'Trabecular arteriesâ†'Central artery centralâ†'Penicilliformarterioleâ†'Red pulp spaceâ†'Pulp veinâ†'Trabecular veinâ†'splenic vein. 2. The central arterial branches formed marginal sinus with the pen hair micro artery and in the marginal zone formed the shape of coral on the edge of the sinus and its distribution around many macrophages, may be related to the plateau environment of adaptive immunity related; subdivision is the marrow of arteriole, sheathed capillaries and terminal capillary penicillar arterioles, which sheathed capillary office as a place of filter blood. 3. hair micro arterial terminal opening in the red pulp gap, not found sinus vein structure, yak spleen is no sinus type of spleen; adult yak spleen blood circulation pattern for open cycle. In summary, the characteristics of the spleen microvasculature in adult yak are closely related to the function of spleen, can learn to lay the foundation for the study of tissue hypoxia alpine region adaptive immune animals...
