In order to study the effects of meteorological factors and the accumulation characteristics of alkaloid content of flue-cured tobacco in the different ecotypes localities. The alkaloid content and its components in 127 samples of tobacco cutters(C3F) were comparatively analyzed, which were collected from five ecological regions of traditional medium aroma type of flue-cured tobacco. The relationship between meteorological factors and the alkaloid content and its components of flue-cured tobacco were analyzed, which were collected from Wuling mountain, central region of Guizhou Province, Qinba mountain, Shangdong areas and northeast region. The results showed that,1. There is a clear difference of tobacco alkaloid content in different ecological zones. Total alkaloid and nicotine contents of tobacco leaves from five ecotypes are in the order as follows: central region of Guizhou Province > Wuling mountain > northeast region > Shangdong areas > Qinba mountain. Five main alkaloid contents of tobacco leaves from five ecotypes were in the order as follows:nicotine > anatabine > nornicotine > anabasine > myosmine. The proportion of nicotine in total alkaloid is more than 93%,and the proportion of myosmine in total alkaloid is relatively stable. Correlation analysis showed that correlation between myosmine and anatabine was low. There was a moderate correlation between myosmine and nornicotine. And moderate correlation between anabasine and anatabine was found.2. The canonical correlation relationship between meteorological factors and the alkaloid content and its components of flue-cured tobacco in the five different ecotypes localities were analyzed. The results showed that in the Wuling Mountain: Significant correlation between precipitation, humidity of the air and sunshine time and alkaloid content and its components were found. No significant correlation between temperature and alkaloid content and its components were found. The meteorological factors strongly affected nicotine, anabasine and anatabine content. Nicotine, anatabine respectively accounted for the proportion of the total alkaloid is strongly influenced by meteorological factors. Myosmine, anabasine respectively accounted for the proportion of the total alkaloid has less affected by meteorological factors.The canonical correlation relationship between meteorological factors and the alkaloid content and its components of flue-cured tobacco in the central region of Guizhou Province were analyzed.Significant correlation between precipitation, humidity of the air, air temperature and diurnal temperature and alkaloid contents were found. And significant correlation between humidity of the air,sunshine time, air temperature and diurnal temperature and alkaloid components ratio were found. No significant correlation between ground temperature, precipitation and alkaloid components ratio were found. The precipitation and diurnal temperature strongly affected the contents of nicotine, anabasine and anatabine. Nicotine, nornicotine and anatabine respectively accounted for the proportion of the total alkaloid is strongly influenced by meteorological factors. Myosmine, anabasine respectively accounted for the proportion of the total alkaloid has less affected by meteorological factors.Significant correlation between precipitation and alkaloid contents were found in Qinba Mountain.And significant correlation between precipitation of mature period and nicotine, anabasine and anatabine content were found. No significant correlation between temperature, sunshine time, humidity of the air and alkaloid content and its components were found. The meteorological factors strongly affected the contents of nicotine, anabasine and anatabine.The canonical correlation relationship between meteorological factors and the alkaloid content and its components of flue-cured tobacco in the Shandong Province were analyzed. Significant correlation between ground temperature, precipitation, sunshine time and air temperature and alkaloid contents were found. No significant correlation between humidity of the air, diurnal temperature and alkaloid contents were found. Significant correlation between ground temperature and nicotine, nornicotine respectively accounted for the proportion of the total alkaloid and nicotine conversion rate were found.No significant correlation between meteorological factors and alkaloid content and its components were found in the northeast region.In summary, meteorological factors impact on tobacco alkaloid content varies in the five different ecotypes localities. Significant correlation ships between precipitation and alkaloid contents were found,except northeast region. The meteorological factors strongly affected the contents of nicotine, anabasine and anatabine, while nornicotine, myosmine content respectively has less affected by meteorological factors.
