Effective utilization of wood resources, is an important issue to promote the construction of ecological civilization, and to promote the of modern forestry construction. With the continuous improvement of wood industry mode and timber market, traditional timber transportation mode cannot meet the needs of modern forestry production. Therefore, the study of wood transportation system optimization and organization method can effectively reduce the timber transportation cost, improve the benefit of forestry industry in economic, social and ecological, and has certain theoretical meaning and practical value for the guidance of forestry development planning.In this paper, the optimization algorithms of timber transport system in scale forest is considered as the research target, based on mathematical tools of utility function and game theory, taking the control problem of wood transportation as the research object, to design the system optimization models, and to design timber control algorithms for direct and indirect transportation, to optimize the transportation timber and control the transportation cost. The main work are summarized as follows:(1) Establish wood transportation optimization model based on utility function, and design timber control algorithm for wood direct transportation. Based on the utility function, system optimization model was established to minimize the transportation cost in wood logistics network. Two different algorithms were designed considering the influence of traffic, which were the timber control model without traffic and timber control model with traffic individually. Then the model and optimization outcomes were verified based on numerical simulation. It was shown by simulations that the transmission timber can be optimally controlled and the transportation cost in the timber process can be effectively reduced through the proposed scheme.(2) Establish wood transportation optimization model based on Hotelling game, and design timber control algorithm for wood indirect transportation. Through properly choosing the indirect and direct transportation timber, the profit of timber harvesting area and the transit area was maximized. Then the model and optimization outcomes were verified based on numerical simulation. It was shown by simulations that the optimal timber for transportation in the timber process can be obtained through the proposed scheme.(3) Through the transportation data collection of timber logistics system, based on Matlab simulation, to analyze the feasibility of the proposed algorithms for direct tranportation.Through the design of the algorithm and the verification of the simulations, show that the proposed algorithms can effectively control the cost of logistics system in the timber transportation process, and effectively promote the development of forestry industry in China and provide the reference for the decision making of the related enterprises and institutions.
