This experiment study the change of tissue morphology on the reticulum, omasum and small intestine in these Mongolian sheep. Thirty male lambs (average 20.70±3.51 kg body weight; were allotted into control and iced (?)ted group. the experiment was lasted for 120d with 0d-60d of feed restriction and 60d-120d of feed competition. Restriction period control animal feed the forage-to-concentrate ratio of 3:7 diet and free intake. Restricted group feed guinea grass. Nutrient competition period this two groups experiment animal were divided into CH and CM and RH and RM four group. H group animal feed the forage-to-concentrate ratio of 5:5, M group animal feed the foragc-to-conccntratc ratio of 7:3. In this experiment period all animal was free choice feeding.According to the experimental data:1.The change of tissue morphology on the reticulum as follows:The thickness of reticulum epithelium measurement shows that group CG was the thickest, group RG was the thinnest; about the thickness of reticulum muscularis mucosae, group CG was the thickest; group RH was the thinnest; for the thickness of reticulum submucosa, group RM was the thickest; group RG was the thinnest; the reticulum muscularis of group CG was the thickest; group RH was the thinnest.2.The change of tissue morphology on the omasum as follows:According to the thickness of omasum epithelium measurement, group CG was the thickest;:group CH was the thinnest; about the thickness of omasum muscularis mucosae, group RG was the thickest; group CH was the thinnest; for the thickness of omasum central muscularis, group CG was the thickest; group CH was the thinnest; the omasum muscularis of group CG was the thickest; group RM was the thinnest.3.The change of tissue morphology on the omasum as follows:About the duodenal villus height, group CG was significantly higher than group RG, group CH, CM, RH, RM were significantly higher than group CG, RG. The differences among the groups aren’t sharp and easy to distinguish in duodenal crypt depth. About jejunum crypt depth, there were no significant difference between group CG and group RG, group CH, CM, RH, RM were significantly deeper than group CG, RG. The Heal crypt depth measurement shew the same result. According to duodenal mucosa thickness measurement, group CG was significantly thicker than group RG, group CH, CM, RH, RM were all thicker than group CG, RG. Neither duodenal circular muscle layer thickness nor duodenal outer longitudinal muscle layer thickness had significant regularity.
