Grape plays an significant role in Ningxia’s agriculture, it is an important crop and has great economic value. The quality of grape production depend on the efficiency and quality of each step of grape growing. As the grape growing just started out, there are few professional machine adopted in grape growing. The low mechanization leads to high cost and low efficiency, which greatly affect planting benefit, and restrict the development of grape growing.In order to deal with low mechanization in grape growing, develop a multi-functional machine that can finish all steps in grape growing, including cane burying, cane digging fertilization, trimming, planting production and harvest, machines about grape growing are researched, scale and specialty of Ningxia’s grape growing are analyzed. The main parts of the machine are diesel, drive system, caterpillar chassis power, hydraulic operating system and gantry connection. The design of this machine depends on plenty of checking calculation. In addition, three dimensional model of the machine is worked out according to solidworks. And in order to check the feasibility of the machine, finite element analysis to gantry connection is done according to ANSYS. The main content of the thesis is as following:By analyzing and comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various of walking devices, crawler walking chassis is chosen as walking device. The author of the thesis designs and works out the major parameter of crawler walking chassis, and works out its three dimensional model.After researching and comparing the merit and demerit of various controlling methods, hydraulic pressure is chosen as the main controlling method. The author finished the calculation about hydraulic pressure system and hydraulic valve selection, and worked out hydraulic scheme and Hydraulic static pressure system diagram.Connecting the grape planting methods and features in north-west, the author the thesis designs gantry connection and defines the dimension parameter of gantry connection. Then, the author of the report does force analysis to gantry connection by using finite element.
