The Research On The Application Of Ornamental Bamboo In Landscape Of Changsha City

China is one of the most abundant bamboo resources in the world,was known as the bamboo kingdom.Bamboo,which is green all the year round,handsome tall and straight,hollow with steam and fresh refined,was received by the people since ancient time,as it has not only economic value,ornamental value and cultural value,but also ecological value in soil conservation,air cleaner and so on.Ornamental bamboo is a special kind of plant,that the space construction and the landscape is different from trees, shrubs and ground cover, variety of different shapes and forms.Because of its special beauty and physical properties of natural,bamboo is widely used in gardens,and the source of a lot of garden art in China,is the main material to create a landscape.ornamental bamboo is widely used in urban landscaping.This paper analysis on application of ornamental bamboo in landscape of Changsha city with the way of inductive analysis and fuzzy mathematics,and with a case about the application of ornamental bamboo.The main study results are followed:Ⅰ Based on the biological characteristics,ornamental characteristics,aesthetic characteristics, cultural characteristics of ornamental and the application in classical garden,we can draw the value and significance of it’s application in landscape,and investigate the ornamental bamboo in the green space of Changsha.As the investigation results shows,Neosinocalamus affinis and Bambusa multiplex f. Fernleaf were used the most widely and frequent in the landscape,Phyllostachys edulis,Bambusa chungii,Phyllostachys sulphurea var. Viridis,Bambusa textilis comes second,Phyllostachysnigra,Sasafortunei,Indocalamus latifolius,Phyllostchysdulisf.Heteroclada,Bambusa ventricosa,Phyllostachys aurea use less.In the survey,Hunan Forest Botanical Garden is the place that with the most abundant resources,and The Bamboo Garden of Orange Isle is the largest and with diversity application.Ⅱ By analyzing the application of ornamental bamboo in the campus,community,park and road of Changsha city and summarizing the form of the configuration with other landscape elements,we can understand the application of ornamental bamboo in Changsha deeply.Ⅲ Evaluation of main ornamental bamboo in Changsha by using fuzzy mathematics method in overall form,bamboo culm,poles and leaves,colors,textures. Then the weight given to the five factors and comprehensive analysis by this way. From the results,Sasa fortunei and Bambusa multiplex f. Fernleaf are in good overall shape,Phyllostachys edulis f. Heteroclada,Bambusa ventricosa,Phyllostachys aurea, Phyllostachys heterocycla cv.Tubaeformis S.Y.Wang, Bambusa multiplex cv. Alphonse-Karl with good-looking bamboo culm,Sasa fortunei with beautiful poles and leaves,Sasa fortunei and Bambusa multiplex f. Fernleaf are better in colors and textures.what’s more,Sasa fortunei is the most ornamental species in the comprehensive evaluation results,Phyllostachys edulis,Bambusa multiplex f. Fernleaf,Phyllostachys nigra,Phyllostachys sulphurea var. Viridis,Phyllostachys edulis f. Heteroclada,Phyllostachys aurea,Bambusa multiplex f. Fernleaf,Bambusa ventricosa var. Nana,Bambusa textilis,Indocalamus tessellatus and Pleioblastus amarus are less good,Bambusa chungii and Bambusa multiplex cv. Alphonse-Karl are the worst.Ⅳ Comprehensive the above results,combining with the analysis about the application of ornamental bamboo in urban landscaping of Changsha city, to summary deficiencies of the application,such as ornamental bamboo resources but rarely applied in landscape, maintenance and management did not reach the designated level etc.and put forward corresponding suggestions and development countermeasures.
