The Detection And Correlation Of Tnf-α And Hepcidin In OSHAS Patients

Objective:To measure the TNF-a and hepcidin of patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome.explore the expression of TNF-a and hepcidin in patients with OSAHS, clarify the role of them in the pathogenesis of OSAHS.Method:This study randomly selected95patients diagnosed with OSAHS from March2012to March2014in Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University and the first people’s hospital of Yunnan province(Mild24, moderate27and severe44)and30cases non-snoring healthy people as control group. All observed subjects were divided into4groups:control subjects, mild OSAHS, moderate OSAHS, reverse OSAHS. TNF-α and hepcidin concentrations of serum were measured and were compared among4groups. Sleep-breathing parameters of the later three groups were also compared with each other. Furthermore, to analyze the correlations between the two factors.Results:1、The comparison to (mild, moderate, and severe) OSAHS patients and control subjects in age, weight, BMI, the difference was not statistically significant.2、Mild, moderate and severe OSAHS group serum TNF-a levels17.52±2.20pg/ml.25.05±3.89pg/ml and43.29±12.95pg/ml were higher than the control group11.03±4.22pg/ml(P<0.01). The more formidable OSAHS severity, TNF-a is higher, the difference was statistically significantly.(P<0.01).3、Mild, moderate and severe OSAHS group serum hepcidin levels585.51± 111.99pg/ml,943.24±168.45pg/ml and1890.95±495.54pg/ml were higher than the control group375.70±91.47pg/ml. The more formidable OSAHS severity, hepcidin is higher, the difference was statistically significantly(P<0.01).4. The serum TNF-a and hepcidin levels of OSAHS group is positively correlated, difference was statistically significantly.(r=0.728, p<0.01)5. OSAHS group serum TNF-a and hepcidin levels and sleep apnea hypoventilation index (AHI) is a significant positive correlation.(r=0.723, r=0.862, p<0.01)6. OSAHS group serum TNF-a and hepcidin levels and minimum pulse blood oxygen saturation (minSpo2) is a significant negative correlation.(r=-0.641, r=-0.647, p<0.01)Conclusion:1、Each OSAHS group serum TNF-a and hepcidin levels is significantly higher than the control group, which shows the TNF-a and hepcidin abnormalities expres-sion and OSAHS illness related2、The comparison with serum TNF-a and hepcidin levels in each OSAHS group is obvious difference. The more serious OSAHS illness, two factor expression levels are higher.3、OSAHS group serum TNF-a. hepcidin levels and AHI is a significant positive correlation. OSAHS group serum TNF-a, hepcidin levels and minSpo2is a significant negative correlation. It shows that the two factors are realated with OSAHS illness degree.4、TNF-α and hepcidin can act as the biological indicators of OSAHS’s severity.
