Objectives:Rotavirus (RV) enteritis is the clinical common and frequently occurring disease, is serious harm to the health of children. This study aims to evaluate the clinical effect of Jiawei Gegen Qinlian Decoction in the treatment of infantile rotavirus enteritis of damp-heat syndrome, in group A rotavirus antigen for the laboratory indexes, explore the advantages and mechanism of action of Chinese medicine in the treatment of children with rotavirus enteritis, and to explore Jiawei Gegen Qinlian Decoction’s anti rotavirus and the mechanism. Innovative application by the parties, the interpretation by the side of the great vitality, and further promotes the innovation of the system of traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment.Methods:60cases of rotavirus enteritis of children age6to24months old of He Nan college of traditional Chinese medicine the first affiliated hospital in October2013-2014in February to our hospital, meet the requirements of this study. Into the cases:(1) conform to the standard western medicine diagnostic criteria:①acute onset, often accompanied by fever and upper respiratory tract infection, vomiting with;②stool routine visible fat ball and a small amount of white blood cells;③stool frequency increased, yellow or white water or like egg soup, no smell, no pus and blood:④negative stool bacterial culture;⑤stool rotavirus antigen ELISA test positive.(2) conforms to the diagnostic criteria of traditional Chinese medicine, heat-damp diarrhea stool like water or egg soup, urgent diarrhea, quantity, daily festivals worldwide, smell foul, poor appetite and eat less, body tiredness weakness, thirst and hi drink, irritability, or with nausea, fever, urine is short and yellow, greasy yellow tongue coating, TCM for damp-heat syndrome;(3)6-24months old;(4)Have a good compliance for clinical observation and evaluation, to the60cases, we use Methods randomized controlled design, and then distribute the selected patients into treatment group and control group. Treatment group was treated with prescription of "Jiawei Gegen Qinlian Decoction"(Jiangyin granules) for3-5days as a course of treatment,6-12months (excludes12months), daily half-pay,3times a day;12-24months, daily one-pay,3times a day. Control group was treated with Live Combined Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus Enterococcus Powder,0.5g,3times a day, flushes the clothing Montmorillonite powder (Smectite)1g,3times a day, flushes the clothing, Fever control group were given symptomatic treatment of fever; Dehydration, acidosis, electrolyte imbalance caught all giving symptomatic treatment, and then last for3-5days as a course of treatment. Compared results on the clinical efficacy, safety, against rotavirus and antipyretic effects. Statistical method:using SPSS16.0statistical software for statistical processing,(l)Before treatment, the comparability of data for analysis;(2) The two groups before and after treatment were paired rank sum test;(3)The comparison between two groups if data with t test of normal distribution by using independent sample data, if does not meet the normal distribution using the rank sum test;(4) Ranked data using chi square test.Results:1Before treatment, the two group’s integral test, no significant differences (P>0.05).Treatment group and control group themselves before and after treatment in syndrome integral comparison, by the statistical tests are significant statistical significance(P<0.05), the two groups after treatment of TCM syndrome margin points and differences between two points had differences(P<.05),the results show that the two way in TCM syndrome integral comparison before and after the treatment are decreased obviously, TCM group in the reduction of TCM syndrome integral is better than western medicine group.2Comparison of two groups of TCM syndrome curative effect, using Fisher’s exact test were analyzed by x2test, P>0.05, No significant differences, can be considered that the two group in the treatment of children with rotavirus enteritis were effective, but there was no significant difference between the two groups clinical syndrome.3The treatment group and the control group was observed fever clearance time, completely antifebrile time up to59hours, the shortest5hours; upon test is normal data, using statistical t-test P<0.05, The difference was statistically significant, described the treatment group’s antifebrile time is shorter then control group.4Comparison of stool’s RV negative after treatment in two groups, using Fisher’s exact test were analyzed by x2test, statistically significant (P<0.05), Chinese medicine treatment group in stool RV negative is better than control group.5Two groups at72h after treatment of disease curative effect compareison, after testing the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),72hours after the treatment effect of the two groups have different disease, indicated that TCM treatment group in disease curative effect is better than control group.Conclusion:1The clinical curative effect of Jiawei Gegen Qinlian Decoction in the treatment of infantile rotavirus enteritis of damp heat syndrome significantly, and better than the western medicine group.2Comparison of stool’s RV negative after treatment in two groups, the difference was statistically significant, show the decoction’s anti rotavirus effect is very good.3Comparison of antipyretic effect of the two groups, the treatment group completely antifebrile time was significantly shorter than that of control group, instructions the decoction in the treatment of RV enteritis of children is clinical efficacy in fever.4. Jiawei Gegen Qinlian Decoction is effective and safe, and can be further applied in clinical practice.
