Object:The paper to study Gegen Qinlian Decoction’s modern medicine and traditional Chinese basic theory,which is a traditional Chinese classical formula from Shanghan Lun, will give a new glue for the modern extending use of traditional formula.Method:It is consisted of two parts,which are the research of formulae with syndrome and the statistic result of modern medical applying.The paper throught70single cases show that:①There are18traditional Chinese medicine diseases such as diarrhea(44.29%), Diabetes (11.11%),cold, dysentery, etc;35western disease such as diarrhea (18.52%), Diabetes (11.11%), Gastroenteritis, oral ulcers, fever, Bacillary dysentery, Pneumonia, radiation proctitis, etc;②There are48Symptom such as abdominal pain(8.37%), dry mouth and thirst(7.95%), fever, loss of appetite, mouth sores, diarrhea, upset, irritable, vomiting, abdominal distension, mouth pain, less gas fatigue, headache, lethargy, itching, sweating disorder (>2%);③The common Tongue such as red tongue (39.44%), Yellow and greasy fur (29.58%), Thin yellow moss, greasy moss, pink tongue and white coating (>2%);9pulses such as rapid pulse (38.39%), slippery pulse, string pulse(>5%);④The103Chinese herbal medicines except from the original formulae herb such as pueraria(120-5g), scutellaria(30-3g), coptis(45-1g), Licorice (18g-1.5g) are Woody, Coix Seed, Poria, Magnolia, dandelion, etc.⑤There is no different in patient sex and age,no different in seasons but the children diarrhea most popular in summer.⑤Recovered medication in6-10days, the most intractable diseases taking more than30days. The Gegen Qinlian Decoction deserves more extensive and deeper research to provide a reference for clinical development.
