ObjectiveCondyloma Acuminatum(CA) is a proliferative disease which is caused by hu-man papillomavirus(HPV) on Genitals or around the anus.HPV was found has more than120genotypes, mroe than40types of them can lead to infection of tractus geni-talis.This topic used fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction(FQ-PCR) technology to detect DNA type of HPV in79patients with condyloma acuminatum, to explore the positive rate and genotypes of HPV and analysis the distribution in different gender,age,input,educationand marriage.MethodsAll of the79CA patients were from the outpatient department of Urology and Gynaecology in General Hospital of Tianjin Medical University between February2012and September2012,According to norms of the clinic diagnosed as condyloma acu-minatum promulgated by the Ministry of Health And Disease Control Department in August2000.Each patient’s clinical data were collected, including gender,age,course of disease,lesions characteristic, input,education,marriage,occupation.The HPV types of79cases were detected by fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction(FQ-PCR).SPSS11.5software were used for statistical analysis.Results1.Results of the HPV DNA detection of all the79CA patients:Among the79CA patients,47were positive,the positive rate was59.49%,44(55.70%) cases were only the HPV6/11genotype positive,2(2.53%) cases were only HPV16/18positive. HPV6/11and HPV16/18mixed were only1(1.26%) case positive.32(40.51%) cases was HPV DNA negative.2.The relation between HPV genotypes and gender:33cases were infected by HPV among50CA patients in male,32cases were HPV6/11positive,1case was both HPV6/11and HPV16/18positive.In female,14cases of29patients were positive,12cases were only HPV6/11positive,,2cases were HPV16/18positive.3.The relation between HPV genotypes and age:36cases were HPV DNA positive in 64young CA patients(<45years old).In middle-aged and elder(>45years old),the result was11cases positive in15patients.4.The relation between HPV genotypes and marriage:12cases were positive in19unmarried CA patients and34cases were positive in59married CA ones.Only1case was people with loss of spouse and he was HPV DNA positive.5.The relation between HPV genotypes and education:27cases were positive in43CA patients who only finished high school or less.20cases were positive in36patients who had university degrees or above.6.The relation between HPV genotypes and input:44cases were HPV DNA positive in73Low income CA patients(<5000RMB per month).In high income groups(>5000RMB per month),the result was3cases positive in6patients.Conclusions1.Using FQ-PCR technology to detected HPV DNA of79CA patients is easy,fast and Specific.It can also detect the HPV genotypes, distinguish the low risk HPV types and the high types,so that make a possible prediction of Malignant transformation.2.In this study,47cases were HPV DNA positive in79CA patients,the positive rate was59.49%.44(93.62%) cases were HPV6/11positive in all the47patints who were HPV infected.HPV6/11was primary types.3.In this study,there was no Statistical difference between male and female in HPV positive rate.Male had higher HPV6/11infection rate than female.Female had higher HPV16/18infection rate than male.4.HPV infection rate was not correlated with difference of age,marriage,education and income in79CA patients.
