Observation On The Clinical Effect Of Treating Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Of Stagnated Heat Of Liver And Stomach Syndrome By Descending Harmful Qi To Remove Heat From The Liver And Purging Heat To Harmonize The Stomach

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of treating gastroesophageal reflux disease of Stagnated heat of liver and stomach syndrome by descending harmful qi to remove heat from the liver and purging heat to harmonize the stomach.Methods:In the clinical study,60cases of gastroesophageal reflux disease of Stagnated heat of liver and stomach syndrome all came from Jiangsu Provincial Hospital since the January2013-2014January.They all met the diagnostic criteria of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine for the Hepatogastric swelter type of GERD.Then we divided them into two groups:one was the TCM treatment group treating with Xiao Xianxiong Tang, the other was Western medicine control group treating with Lansoprazole and Mosapride,30cases of each.The Clinical Observation Sheet was based on"Chinese medicine clinical research guidelines."issued in May2002(Chinese Medical Science and Technology) and the "Press and TCM treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease Consensus"issued in2009Shenzhen.Then we recorded the main symptoms and minor symptoms into0-3Points,and observed the changes of the main symptoms and minor symptoms of the two groups after treatment.In the end,Using statistical methods to observe the final8weeks treatment outcome.Results:The clinical significant efficiency of treating this disease by descending harmful qi to remove heat from the liver and purging heat to harmonize the stomach was40%,the total efficiency was93.3%.They were similar to the control group.The improvement of the major symptoms(regurgitation of sourness,heat burn) and some minor symptoms(burning pain in the stomach,belching) in the TCM treatment group was similar to the control group(P>0.05).But the improvement of some minor symptoms (fullness in the chest,dry and bitter taste, irritability,constipation) in the TCM treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).Therefore,two groups had such a similar effect in treating this illness, but the TCM treatment group could improve the quality of patients’life better.Conclusion:Treating gastroesophageal reflux disease of Stagnated heat of liver and stomach syndrome by descending harmful qi to remove heat from the liver and purging heat to harmonize the stomach can result in outstanding clinical efficacy.
