Objective:To inquire the Correlative between the Northwest Dryness Syndrome (NDS) and Hypertension of Ugur, kazakh and Hans in Xinjiang, providing the basis of prevention and treatment of Hypertension. Methods:This study used methods of case-control,totally249Hypertension case group and245normal blood pressure control group. The Hypertension case group were analyzed with diagnostic assessment of Hypertension patients, the questionnaire onTCM syndrome scoreand northwest dryness syndrome score. To campare the prevalence rate of NDS with Hypertension of Ugur, kazakh, and Hens, and campared the total score and main or accompanied symptoms score of NDS and also compared the score of pathological conditions of Hypertension and TCM syndrome Score of NDS about these three nationnalities,to further analyse the score of pathological conditions of Hypertension and TCM syndrome Score of NDS about these three nationnalities dryness syndrome groups and non dryness groups Results:The prevalence rate of NDS with Hypertension of Hens was39.1%, Theprevalence rate of NDS with Hypertension of Ugur was49.48%, The prevalence rate of NDS with Hypertension of kazakh was44.10%,the rate in Ugur was higher than Hens and kazakh ranking the first. The total score and main symptom score of NDS with Hypertension of Ugur were significantly higher than other two Nationnalities, also the score of deficiencies of essence and blood of the liver and the kidney syndrome; yin deficiencies of the heart and kidney syndrome werehigher than other two Nationnalities,Secondly was the lung and heartwind-fire pathogen syndrome;(P<0.01). The extent of NDS of Ugur was more serious than Hens, but there was not significant difference between Ugur, and kazakh The extent of pathological conditions with hypertension and TCM syndrome Score of NDS of Ugur were more serious than other two Nationnalities, and the score of Yin deficiency with yang hyperactivity of hypertension in Ugur were significantly higher than Hens and kazakh. To campare the extent of Hypertension we found that the people with Hypertension complicated with NDS was more serious than the people with Hypertension who not complicated with NDS.The Hypertension of Hens we divided into dryness goups and non dryness groups,we found that the difference was significant no matter in score of pathological conditions of hypertensionand TCM syndrome The Hypertension in Uygur we divided into dryness groups and non dryness groups we found that the difference was significant in TCM syndrome score except for excessive accumulation of phlegm-dampness,deficiency of yin and yang (P<0.01) The Hypertension in in kazakh, we divided into syndrome groups and non dryness groups the difference was significant in pathological conditions of hypertension and the Score of liver-fire hyperractivity (P<0.01) conclusion:The prevalence rate of NDS was different among these three nathionalities with Hypertension.the three nathionalities of Hypertension complicated with NDS was more serious than who not complicated with NDS,also exhbits the different syndrom characteristics with mainland,it showed the tight link with Hypertension and NDS. The correlation is significance between the score of pathological conditions of hypertension with the total score, main and4accompanied symptoms scores of northwest dryness syndrome(NDS) in hypertension case group, excepted yin deficiency of the spleen and stomach syndrome (P <0.01), strongly correlated with yin deficiency of theHreatand kidney syndrome(r=0.505, P<0.01) secondly was deficiencies of essence and blood of the liver and the kidney syndrome;(r=0.495. P<0.01)...
