Clinical Scrapping Research On Climacteric Syndrome Of Yin-Deficiency Body Constitution

ObjectiveThis research aims at exploring an effective and easy method to treat climacteric syndrome of yin-deficiency body constitution, according to observing the differences of effect between treatment group (scrapping therapy)and control group(acupuncture only).MethodsAccording to the inclusion standard, collect 60 subjects with yin-deficiency constitution who were suffering climacteric syndrome, and divide them into treatment group and control group randomly. Give subjects in treatment group therapies of scrapping from BL11 to BL18 on Taiyang Bladder Meridian of Foot, and acupuncture treatment based on syndrome differentiation.Subjects from control group accepted acupuncture treatment only, selecting acupoints as follow:GV20,CV4,BL23, KI3, SP6. Both group got treatments for one times every 5 days, the course of treatment was 30 days. Judge the curative effect after 1 months follow-up.Record Kupperman score, yin-deficiency constitution score of two groups, and the skin lesions of the treatment group, and evaluate the overall curative effect.ResultsAmong the 60 subjects,2 cases were excluded. There are 29 patients in treatment group and 29 patients in control group. There was no significant difference in the age, the course of disease, the change of score and the score of Kupperman(P>0.05)in the patients of the two groups, and it was comparable with that of the patients.By statistical analysis, the treatment group and the control group have significant statistic differences in the overall efficacy, Kupperman scores, and yin-deficiency constitution conversion score(P>0.05), which shows scraping therapy or simple acupuncture both can improve the deficiency of the constitution of perimenopausal syndrome symptoms effectively, also shows that the constitution is adjustable.The score of yin-deficiency constitution in two groups is still more than 40, means that the constitution of yin-deficiency has no qualitative change, indicates the yin-deficiency constitution has the characteristics of stability in a certain extent.Differences in total MI index after treatment in the two groups has no statistical significance(P>0.05), indicates the effect on improve symptoms of yin-deficiency perimenopausal syndrome by scraping is quiet the same as acupuncture. The difference in the hectic fever and sweating, fatigue, mood swings, paresthesia, dizziness, sexual life after treatment in two groups are statistically significant(P<0.05), indicates the scraping is more effective than simple acupuncture on this.By observing the skin of scrapping part, the most prominent appearance were BL13, BL17, BL12, BL14, which appeared bright red, meeting the etiology cognition of yin-deficiency constitution of perimenopausal syndrome, which is the upper energizer deficiency-heat and block of Qi.ConelusionScrapping has the advantages of simplicity, low efficiency, but has limited improvement on yin-deficiency constitution of menopausal syndrome.
