Comprehensive Quality Evaluation Of Medical, Education And Scientific Research In A Tertiary General Hospital

Objectives: To evaluate comprehensive quality of medical, education and scientific research of a tertiary general hospital from 2007 to 2013 objectively.Through the establishment of medical, education and scientific research comprehensive quality evaluation index system of tertiary general hospital, and combined application of comprehensive evaluation method, to analyze the trend of the development of comprehensive quality of medical, education and scientific research of the hospital, and provide reference for hospital quality continuous improvement of medical, education and scientific research. At the same time, we put forward suggestions for the coordinated development of medical, education and scientific research of tertiary general hospital, so as to provide decision reference for management work of tertiary general hospital.Methods: Through literature analysis to screen index preliminary. Delphi method was used to screen indexes and determine the weight of each index, we build medical, education and scientific research comprehensive quality evaluation index system of tertiary general hospitalSorting and grading results of comprehensive quality evaluation of medical, education and scientific research by the combination of TOPSIS and RSR methods. comprehensive index method is used to find the weak links of the comprehensive quality of medical, education and scientific research of this hospital, and we analyze the existing problems.Results:(1) The mean of age is 43 and working time is 20 years. The back rates of three investigations are 100%.The mean of authorities is 0.844. The harmonious coefficients have statistic significance(P<0.01).The first round and second round of the index system of expert advice total reliability were 0.922 and 0.938; expert accounted for 94.8% think that the index system very reasonable or reasonable on the whole.(2) The index system includes 3 indexes of grade one,9 indexes of grade twoand 36 indexes of grade three. Level indicators including the medical quality,education quality and scientific research quality. Secondary indexes including death,reentry, infection, successful rescue, school medical education, graduation medical education, continuing medical education, scientific research items, and research achievements.(3) TOPSIS method and RSR method analysis results show that the comprehensive quality of medical, education and scientific research of 2013 is best,the worst in 2008 of the hospital. The comprehensive quality of 2013 to 2011 is good,the comprehensive quality of 2010 and 2009 is qualified, the comprehensive quality of 2008 and 2007 is bad, and the difference among 3 groups was statistically significant.(4) Comprehensive index method analysis found that the overall development of medical, education and scientific research in 2007-2013 in the hospital is good, but there are still some weak links in quality management: one is aseptic incision infection rate index unstable; another is the number of scientific research reward general shows fluctuations, and there is no large ascension of the number, especially high-level scientific research reward remains to be promoted.Besides the number of invention patents is volatile and unstable.Conclusions:(1) The representative, enthusiasm,authority and harmony of experts were good, and the index system has good reliability and validity. The indicator system is valid and feasible, and can be used to provide the scientific basis for continuous improvement of comprehensive quality of medical treatment,education and scientific research in tertiary general hospital.(2) The hospital adhere to the coordinated development by making the medical work become the center, and making teaching and scientific research become the two wings. The overall medical,education and scientific research quality of the hospital showed upward trend, but there are some aspects need to be further improved.(3) The common development of medical, education and scientific research is the fundamental for the development of tertiary general hospital. tertiary general hospital should make the three coordinate, so as to promote the comprehensive, balanced and sustainable development of hospital.(4) Combined application of TOPSIS method, RSR method, and the comprehensive index method has objectivity and practicability, the evaluation results are inconformity with its actual.(5) Synthetical evaluation method is widely used in general hospital management, but there are still many problems when it is used. We should use it normatively. Besides, we should select appropriate evaluation methods and analyze evaluation results reasonably to create its positive role in hospital management.
