Background Burns is inevitably occur in our daily life, mostly I degree-Ⅱ degree burns. Now that the burn healing process involves inflammation, tissue remodeling and other pathophysiological processes. During inflammation, cytokines play an important role, including interleukin -6 (IL-6) is one of the key cytokines produced during the healing burns. Reported in Table -3-epigallocatechin gallate (epigallocatechin-3-gallate, EGCG) inhibit pro-inflammatory cytokine TNF-a, IL-lb expression, suggesting it has the potential anti-inflammatory characteristics. Objective Establishment of deep second degree burn model, application EGCG treatment of burns, wound healing by record size, the determination of Immune Organ Index and mouse serum hemolysin antibody levels to detect tissue gene expression and protein levels of IL-6, observation table epigallocatechin gallate -3- burn skin healing and to explore its mechanism. Methods 96 healthy mice were randomly divided into four groups, the control group, the burn group, Mabel treated group,0.2 mg/g EGCG group, the control group six other groups 30. All the mice back hair removal, except for the control group were formed deep second degree burn wounds water bath method. The control group received saline hair removal site, burn group without any treatment, and the rest given the appropriate drug treatment,1 time/day for consecutive 14 days.2d observe and record every measure the diameter of the wound; after each treatment group of mice were burned Od,0.5d, 1d,2d,4d,8d days sacrificed skin tissue, thymus and spleen, skin tissue by real-time quantitative PCR and ELISA were used to detect IL-6 mRNA and protein levels, which is detected by weighing the impact of EGCG on immune organs; at the same time, in burn treatment 2d,8d,14d drawn when making HE sections under the microscope of wound healing, in blood was collected for determination of serum antibody hemolytic mouse hormone burns when handling 8d.Results1. EGCG mouse skin can promote deep Ⅱ° burn wound healing.2. EGCG burns can enhance immune function in mice.3. EGCG late in healing burns can effectively inhibit the excessive secretion of IL-6.Conclusions1. EGCG mouse skin can promote deep Ⅱ° burn wound healing there.2. EGCG probably by enhancing immune function in mice and in the latter part of the healing burns can effectively inhibit the excessive secretion of IL-6 play a catalytic reduction of inflammation in mouse skin deep Ⅱ° burn wound healing there.
