Objective:To discuss the relationship between the horizon tal corneal diameter, anterior chamber diameter and horizontal ciliar y sulcus diameter in patients with high myopia and the influencing factors so as to provide a reference basis for clinic.Methods:62 cases of patients (115 eyes) with high myopia (spherical lens> 6.00D) who were examined in our hospital from August 2013 to August 2014 were collected. SIRIUS system was used to measure horizontal corneal diameter and anterior chamber diameter while UBM was used to measure horizontal ciliary sulcus diameter. The mesured results were compared and analyzed.62 cases of patients with high myopia were divided into 3 groups according to the ages:group 1:20-29 years; group 2:30-39 years; and group 3:>40 years. Age-related factors were compared. Eyes were divided into group A (ACD≤3.5mm) and group B (ACD>3.5mm) according to central anterior chamber depth measured by SIRIUS. The correlated influencing factors were compared. SPSS20.0 was used for analysis. One-way analysis of variance was used to anayze measurement data between groups, LSD was used for pairwise comparison between groups, and independent t test was used for comparison between groups. Linear regression equation and Pearson product-moment correlation were used for correlation analysis,F test was conducted on regression equation; Bland-Altman method was used to analyze consistency of measurement methods.ResuIts:Horizontal corneal diameter and horizontal anterior chamber diameter measured by SIRIUS system were (11.91±0.37) mm and (12.45±0.43) mm, while horizontalciliary sulcus diameter measured by UBM was (11.78±0.46) mm.Correlation analysis:Horizontal corneal diameter and ciliary sulcus diameter were analyzed by regression equation:horizontalciliary sulcus diameter (Y)=1.751+0.842* horizontal corneal diameter (X),there was statistical significance examined by the variance regression equation (F=41.181,P=0.000<0.01), Pearson correlation coefficient was 0.676.Horizontal anterior chamber diameter and ciliary sulcus diameter were analyzed by regression equation: horizontal ciliary sulcus diameter (Y)=6.826+0.398* horizontal anterior chamber diameter (X), there was statistical significance examined by the variance regression equation (F=7.626,P=0.008<0.01), Pearson correlation coefficient was 0.444. Bland-Altman was used for consistency analysis and the results showed:Difference between corneal diameters measured by twice SIRIUS was -0.01±0.06mm and 95% limits of consistency were -0.13~0.10mm; Difference between anterior chamber diameters measured by twice SIRIUS was (-0.05±0.12) mm and 95% limits of consistency were (-0.25~0.17) mm;Difference between ciliary sulcus diameters measured by twice UBM was (-0.07±0.11) mm and 95% limits of consistency were (-0.29~0.18) mm. Correlation comparison on age-related factors:there were no obvious correlation between horizontal corneal diameter and age (r=-0.218, P=0.125>0.05); but there were significant correlation between horizontal anterior chamber diameter, horizontal ciliary sulcus diameter and age (r=-0.423,-0.386, all P values were<0.05);Correlation analysison influencing factors:independent sample t-test was used for data of group A and group B, and the results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05), and mesured values of group A were less all less than those of group B; Correlation analysis of group A suggested that there were correlations between horizontal corneal diameter, anterior chamber diameter and ciliary sulcus diameter; Correlation analysis of group B suggested that there were not any correlation between horizontalcorneal diameter, anterior chamber diameter andciliary sulcus diameter.Conclusion:1. There are good correlation between horizontal corneal diameter, anterior chamber diameter and ciliary sulcus diameter. The correlation between horizontal corneal diameter and ciliary sulcus diameteris good, but is affected by anterior chamber depth and age; 2.SIRIUS system is safe, simple and accurate in measurement of corneal diameter and anterior chamber diameter, which has good application value inoperations like ICL;2..
