| Objective: Through observing the effect of Jiawei Qianzhengsan decoction in treatingprimary hemi-facial spasm, to provides a definite effect, application conveniencely,economic and practical treatment method for primary hemi-facial spasm (HFS) patients,and discusses their action mechanism.Methods:69patients with primary hemi-facial spasm patients were randomlydivided into two groups: treatment group and control group. the treatment group wastreated with Jiawei Qianzhengsan decoction, while the control group was treated withCarbamazepine and Mecobalamin Tablets, After the two groups treated for one month,effect was observed.Results: The total effective rate of clinic is88.57%and70.59%in the treatmentgroup and in the control group respectively, There is statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After treatment, Jiawei Qianzhengsan decoction is significantly reducespasm(P<0.05)ï¼›And the total effective rate of TCM symptoms is91.43%and73.53%inthe treatment group and in the control group respectively, There is statistically significantdifference (P<0.05). After treatment, Jiawei Qianzhengsan decoction is significantlyreduce TCM symptoms points (P<0.05).Conclusion: Jiawei Qianzhengsan decoction is effective in treating primaryhemi-facial spasm, and it can obviously improve the clinical symptoms, improve lifequality without toxic side effects, therefore having the further research, development andapplication value. |
