The Clinical Observation Of The Curative Effect Of The Bushenbaidingyin Decoction On Treating Leucoderma(Spleen-kidney Yang Deficiency)

Objective:The purpose of this paper is to observe the clinical curative effect of the Bushenbaiding Decoction on treating the special kind of leucoderma patients which are deficient of Yang on spleen and kidney, to objectively evaluate its effective rate and safety through statistical analysis, and to preliminarily investigate its action mechanism from the view of modern medicine.Methods:The clinical observation uses the case-control method by dividing74leucoderma patients who meet the inclusion criteria into the treatment group and the control group randomly, with37cases each. Patients in the treatment group take the Bushenbaiding Decoction orally; the ones in the control group orally take Bailing Pill instead. Both groups take Leucoderma Tincture for external application.2consecutive courses of treatment are taken in observation, with6weeks each course. Finally, the clinical curative effect of the Bushenbaiding Decoction will be evaluated objectively on the statistics theory, through observing the change of the skin damage score change between before and after treatment. All data are analyzed using SPSS16.0.Results:The results of the33cases in the treatment group showed4cured eases(12.12%),17markedly effective cases(51.52%),8improved cases(24.24%) and4ineffective cases(12.12%), the total effective rate reaching87.88%; these of the31cases in the control group showed0cured eases(0%),10markedly effective cases(32.26%),7improved cases(22.58%) and14ineffective cases(45.16%), the total effective rate reaching54.84%. By chi-square test,χ2=11.0821, P=0.0070(<0.05), the difference is proven to be statistically significant. Meanwhile, through doing t test on the skin damage score of2groups after treatment, t=1112.5580, P=0.0006(<0.05), the difference is proven to be statistically significant, also. It could be proven that the clinical curative effect of treatment is better. There were no serious adverse reactions in any group, so it could be stated that both methods of treatment have a certain safety.
