"Huangdi Neijing" Research On Modern Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment For Tympanites

Objective:by reading the literature research on the Traditional Chinese medicine and the Integrative Western and Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment of the tympanites, explore the pathogenesis, differentiation of syndromes and signs, experience of physicians, to much systematically and comprehensively understand the tympanites, and provide the theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of tympanites, summarize an effective way to guide the clinical practice.Methods:search the literature of the traditional Chinese medicine and the Integrative Western and Chinese Medicine for the tympanites and Liver cirrhosis disease in China National Knowledge (CNKI) from2010to2014, and the theory, clinical research and doctor’s experience on the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine for tympanites in the selected literature, conclude the theoretical research of traditional Chinese medicine treatment for the tympanites, the research of Western medicine treatment for the tympanites, generalize the regular pattern of diagnosis and treatment the tympanites in the Modern Chinese Medicine. Results:(1) In the traditional Chinese medicine, it believes that the cause of tympanites is not moderate in eating and drinking, the infection of insect virus, the emotional injury, the follow-up symptom of diseases and so on. The basic pathological factors are qi stagnation, water retention and mutual infestation of blood stasis. In the medium-late stage of the disease, there is deficiency in liver, spleen and kidney.(2) The most common of tympanites has six kinds of syndrome:water retention due to hypofunction of the spleen, cold-damp affecting spleen, damp-heat retention in spleen, blood stasis in liver and spleen, kidney-yang deficiency and water retention, and Yin deficiency in liver and kidney.(3) The treatment of tympanites is mainly to strengthen the body resistance and eliminate pathogenic factors. The soothing liver and promoting the circulation of qi, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and inducing diuresis to alleviate edema are often used to eliminate pathogenic factors, and the nourishing liver and kidney or the warmly invigorating spleen and kidney are used to strengthen the body resistance.(4) The treatment of tympanites should pay attention to the tonifying spleen and nourishing stomach and the nourishing Yin and alleviating water retention, focusing on the nourishing blood and blood-activating drugs, and use the drastically purgating water drugs under caution.(5) The conventional therapy of Western medicine has four types:resting in bed, limiting the intake of sodium and water, the diuretic agents and the supplement of albumin.Conclusion:1. In the traditional Chinese medicine, the cause of tympanites is immoderate in eating and drinking, the infection of insect virus, the emotional injury, the follow-up symptom of diseases and so on. The basic pathological factors are qi stagnation, water retention and mutual infestation of blood stasis.2. In the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine, the methods are Oral administration and External therapy, and the effect is more unique and dominant. 3. Select the appropriate integrative therapies for treating the tympanites, with dietary and routine care of syndrome differentiation in Chinese Medicine, it can improve clinical results.
