Objective:To study the expression and relation of anti-Survivin antibody and CEA in serum of patients with non-small cell lung cancer, and discuss the clinical significance of anti-Survivin antibody and CEA in the diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer.Methods:50 samples of blood serum of patients with non-small cell lung cancer,20 patients with benign lesions and 20 health volunteers as control groups in respiratory medicine were collected. Determined anti-Survivin antibody by ELISA and CEA by chemical light immune method.Results:1. The serum concentration of anti-survivin antibody in the group of non-small cell cancer were 41.51±34.51 pg/ml,significantly higher than the group of lung benign lesions 12.55±3.58 pg/ml(t = 3.729, P <0.01)and health controls 10.78±3.97 pg/ml(t =3.954, P <0.01).The serum concentration of CEA in the group of non-small cell cancer were 6.09±4.61 ug/L,significantly higher than the group of lung benign lesions(2.26±1.02 ug/L)(t =4.059, P <0.01) and health controls(2.21±1.05ug/L)(t =-3.624, P <0.01).2. The serum concentration of anti-survivin antibody in late stage(Ⅲ-Ⅳ stage) lung cancer group(43.38±35.09pg/ml) has no significantly difference compared with the group of early-middle stage(Ⅰ-Ⅱstage)lung cancer(19.93 ± 17.24pg/ml)(t=-1.314,P>0.05).The serum concentration of CEA in the group of late stage lung cancer(6.34±4.43ug/L) has no significantly difference compared with the group of early-middle stage lung cancer(8.28±7.43ug/L)(t=0.794,P>0.05).3. The serum concentration of anti-survivin antibody in different pathological type asfollows: lung squamous cell carcinoma group 42.85 ± 35.30pg/ml, lung adenocarcinoma group 39.28±33.97pg/ml(P>0.05).The serum concentration of CEA in different pathological type as follows: lung adenocarcinoma group(8.64±5.26ug/L), lung squamous cell carcinoma group 5.31±3.82ug/L.The serum concentration of CEA in lung adenocarcinoma group was significantly higher than lung squamous cell carcinoma group(P <0.05).4. The positive rate of anti-Survivin antibody in the serum of patients with non-small cell lung cancer was 44%(22/50),the group of lung benign lesions and health controls were 0. The positive rate of CEA in the serum of patients with non-small cell lung cancer was 70%,the group of lung benign lesions was 30%(6/20)(χ2=5.534,P <0.05)and health controls was 20%(4/20)(, χ2=9.42,P <0.05).5. The positive rate of anti-Survivin antibody in different pathological type:lung squamous cell carcinoma group 58.06%,lung adenocarcinoma group 89.47%(P<0.05). The positive rate of anti-Survivin antibody in different pathological type :lung squamous cell carcinoma group 45.16%,lung adenocarcinoma group 42.11%(P>0.05).6. The positive rate of anti-survivin antibody in early-middle stage(Ⅰ-Ⅱstage)lung cancer group was 25%(1/4),the positive rate of anti-survivin antibody in late stage(Ⅲ-Ⅳ stage) lung cancer group was 45.65%(21/46),(P>0.05).The positive rate of CEA in early-middle stage(Ⅰ-Ⅱstage)lung cancer group 25%(1/4),the positive rate of anti-survivin antibody in late stage(Ⅲ-Ⅳ stage) lung cancer group was 45.65%(21/46),(P>0.05).Conclusion:1. Expression of anti-Survivin antibody in serum of patients with non-small cell lung cancer is higher than lung benign lesions group and healthy controls, having guide significance in the diagnosis of lung cancer.2.The united detection combined anti-Survivin antibody with CEA can improve the sensitivity of diagnosis in lung cancer..3.The concentration of anti-Survivin antibody in serum of patients with non-small celllung cancer has no association with age, sex, smoking, TNM-staging and pathological type.
