Objective: Stable angina pectoris is an common disease that serious threats human health. In recent years, the incidence of the disease in our country showing an upward trend. In this study,we follow the basic principles of traditional Chinese medicine and the essential of syndrome differentiation and treatment,to research how Modified Fengsuiqianyangdan exert influence on TCM syndrome integral、angina pectoris and heart rate spectral components in coronary artery disease, explore new treatment of SA in use of Chinese medicine and find a new method to improve the prognosis of stable angina. Methods:Put 60 patients of stable angina who meet this research criterion into two groups: one is treatment group and one is control group. Conventional therapy is adopted by the control group by orally taking Bay aspirin 0.1 Qd, Isosorbide Mononitrate tablet 20 mg bid, Metroprolo 23.75 mg Qd. Atorvastatin 10 mg Qd,The treatment group, on the other hand, takes Modified Fengsuiqinayangdan, a prescription which is composed aconite 9g; phellodendron15g; plastrum testudinis15g; amomum 9g; salvia30g; cassia twig9g; poria15g; red peony root 12g; prepared radix rehmanniae30g; wolfberry fruit30g; glycyrrhiza6 g. Then respectively study patients’ dynamic electrocardiogram LVH, and the percentage of HF and LF components of the total power, magnitude of the change of LVH and HF%, TCM syndrome integral, effect in stable angina pectoris. All results of observation targets are put into database and analyzed by statistics by using SPSS17.0 software. Results: The TCM syndrome integral, angina symptom score, angina pectoris grade and LVH all show significant difference in both treatment group and control group before and after the treatment(P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the treatment group shows distinct advantages in aspect of therapeutic effect,TCM syndrome integral and angina symptom score(P<0.05) but shows no superiority in aspect of angina pectoris grade 、ECG efficacy and therapeutic effect of angina and global therapeutic effect(P>0.05) after treatment. There is no significant difference between treatment group and control group in LVH,HF%,LF%and the magnitude of the change of HF%(P>0.05) after treatment but we can see an appreciable difference in the magnitude of the change of LVH(P=0.019).Conclusion:1. Nourishing yin and restraining hyperactivity of yang can effectively improve patients’ clinical symptoms, relive the TCM syndrome integral, reduce seizures and pain of angina caused by deficiency of both heart and kidney.2. Nourishing yin and restraining hyperactivity of yang can effectively enhance the improvement role of β-blockers on LVH and HF,but shows no significant effect in the improvement of percentage of LF,whether using nourishing yin and restraining hyperactivity of yang or not.3. On the basis of β-blocker,adding Modified Fengsuiqianyangdan to the conventional treatment can effectively ameliorate heart rate spectral components thus improve prognosis and reduce the incidence of adverse cardiovascular events, embodies the advantages of TCM’S preventing disease in health.4. Integrated traditional and western medicine shows an obvious advantage in the treatment of stable angina. No adverse reaction seen during the whole observation period, which means it is reliable and safe.
