Objective: Pulmonary tuberculosis is one kind of chronic infectious disease which caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex. The most pathogens we found in clinical work is M. tuberculosis. Mycobacterium tuberculosis is one kind of intracellular bacteria. Alveolar macrophages is the commen place where M. tuberculosis parasitic on. cell-mediated immunity plays an important role in immune response against M. tuberculosis. The results show that cellular immunity plays an important role in the antituberculosis immunity. This research analysis the level of cellular immunity in pulmonary tuberculosis patients by the detection of T-lymphocyte subsets. Methods: Fifty PTB patients who were detected in our hospital of Respiratory Department ward two during November 2013 to February 2014 were enrolled in the study as a study group,30 healthy people were enrolled as the control group. According to age, these patients were divided into three guoups:⑴young group(<30);(2)adult group(30-60);(3) old group(> 60).According to the scope of lesion, these patients were divided into extensive lesion group and lesion limited group. Results: Compared with the control guoup,The CD4 T-lymphocyte absolute counts,CD4/CD8 ratio in study group dropped,CD8 T-lymphocyte absolute counts increased(P<0.05), but there are no differences in CD3 T-lymphocyte absolute counts between the control group and study group. Compared with the young group, The absolute counts of CD3,CD4,CD8 T-lymphocyte and CD4/CD8 ratio dropped in old group(P<0.05). There are no significantly differences in indexs between the old group and adout group(P>0.05).There are no differences in indexs between the young group and adult group. The absolute counts of CD3,CD4,CD8 T-lymphocyte dropped in extensive lesion group, as compared with young group(P<0.05).Conclusions: The level of cellular immune in PTB patients is low.Compared with young group and adult group, the level of cellular immune in eldly PTB patients is low,we need pay more attention to them.Compared with the lesion limited group, the level of cellular immune in extensive lesion group is low,it’s worth clinical attention.
