Objective:By detecting serum tissue factor(TF),tissue factor pathway inhibitor(TFPI)levels of pantients with type 2 proliferative diabetic retinopathy, pantients with type 2 background diabetic retinopat, pantients with type 2 non-diabetic retinopat, normal person. To analysis and investigate the rules of occurrence and development between serum TF,TFPI and type 2diabetic retinopathy,to provide some information for investigation of the pathogenesis of diabetic retinopathy. It has positive significance to prevent and reduce the occurrence and development of diabetic retinopathy.Methods:(1)Sample collection:We selected 203 cases from the first affiliated hospital of medi-cal school Shihezi University between January 2014 and September 2014 on basis of the diag-nostic criteria and typing of diabetes mellitus in 1999.163 cases were type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM), 20 cases healthy people were selected as normal controls(NC).Based on the resuls fu-nduscope exam results, type 2 diabetes mellitus patients were divided into proliferative diabet-ic retinopathy(PDR),background diabetic retinopat(BDR) and non-diabetic retinopat(NDR).(2)Detection of the samples: serum TF,TFPI were measured by enzyme linked immunosorben-t assay.(3)Statistical analysis: The SPSS 17.0 was used for statistical analysis.Continuous var-iables were presented as mean±sd and difference between two groups were tested using test and analysis of Variance(ANOVA),to assess the dependability by coefficient of relate/ partial correlation and multiple regression analysis. A value of less than 0.05 was considered statistic-ally significant.Results:(1)Fasting blood serum TF: The levels of TF in the four groups were gradually elevated,, they were significantly difference(p<0.01 or p<0.05).(2)Fasting blood serum TFPI: NDR group were obviously higher than NC group, they were significantly difference(p<0.01);There is no obvious change between BDR group, PDR group and NDR group, they were no significantly difference(P>0.05);BDR group, PDR group were obviously lower than NDR group, they were significantly difference(p<0.01);There is no obvious change between PDR group and BDR group, they were no significantly difference(P>0.05).(3)Ratio of TF/TFPI: Ratio of TF/TFPI in the four groups were gradually elevated,, they were significantly difference(p<0.01 or p<0.05).(4)DR was positively correlated with age(r=0.238,P<0.05), durationa(r=0.672,P<0.01), TF(r=0.649, P<0.01) and ratio of TF/TFPI(r=0.783,P<0.01), DR was negatively correlated with FC-P(r=-0.287, P<0.05).(5)Through the multiple Logistic regression analysis we found that the serum TF, Course of diabetes and Age were risk factors to DR of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Conclusions:Serum TF,ratio of TF/TFPI of four group’research object have gradually increas-ed,Serum TFPI of NDR group were higher than NC group,Serum TFPI of three group in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus have gradually decreased, displayed that TF and TFPI have involved in occurrence and development of DR in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus; The serum TF were risk factors to DR of type 2 diabetes mellitus,TFPI may be protective factor;TF and TF/TFPI may be used as index of early diagnosis of DR of type 2 diabetes mellitus and the index of DR severity.
