Objective:A prospective randomized controlled study on the clinic effects of electric acupuncture in palliative chemotherapy for non-small cell lung cancer. To understand the effects on T lymphocyte subsets level and the toxic and side reaction, quality of life, physical condition of electric acupuncture in chemotherapy patients with non-small cell lung cancer, trying to find if electric acupuncture can improve the immune function for palliative chemotherapy patients.Method:By random grouping, each group 30 patients, control group:1 day before chemotherapy and 10th day after chemotherapy extract respectively peripheral blood to test lymphocyte subsets, record CD3, CD8, CD4, CD4/CD8,and anti-cancer drug toxicity assessment classification level, quality of life and Karnofasky physical condition score, treatment group: acupoint bilateral tsusanli, sanyinjiao, give the electric acupuncture treatment once a day from the first day of chemotherapy,30 minutes, frequency 2HZ, Continuous Wave, a total of 10 days.1 day before chemotherapy and 10th day after chemotherapy extract respectively peripheral blood to test lymphocyte subsets, record CD3, CD8, CD4, CD4/CD8,and anti-cancer drug toxicity assessment classification level, quality of life and Karnofasky physical condition score. Expressed as mean ± standard deviation(x±s) though the test data with data statistics processing, Using SPSS 19.0 statistical software for statistical analysis. The main evaluation criteria:lymphocyte subsets index.Result:Before the treatment, there were no significant differences in lymphocyte subsets level between the two groups (P>0.05).After the treatment, there were no significant change (p>0. 05) in the CD3、CD4、 CD8、CD4/CD8 level of treatment group; the CD3、CD 4, CD4/CD8 level of control group reduced (p<0.01) and the CD8 level of control group increased(P<0. 01).After the treatment, the CD3、CD4、CD4/CD8 level of treatment group increased(P<0. 01) compared with the control group and CD8 level of treatment group reduced(P<0.01) compared with the control group. Before the treatment, there were no significant differences in the anti—cancer drug toxicity assessment classification level between the two groups (P>0.05). After the treatment, the anti-cancer drug toxicity assessment classification level increased(p<0. 05,p<0.01) in two groups, but it was relatively mild in treatment group (p (0.05),the differences were statistical significance. Before the treatment, there were no significant differences in the quality of life and Karnofasky score between the two groups(P>0.05). After the treatment, the quality of life score of two groups were increased (p<0.01), the Karnofasky score were decreased (p<0.01), the quality of life score of treatment group reduced (p<0.05) compared with the control group and the Karnofasky score of treatment group increased (p<0.05) compared with the control group. Conclusion:Though electric acupuncture treatment to the patients of non-small cell lung cancer in the palliative chemotherapy can reduce the damage on T lymphocyte subsets by the chemotherapy, reduce the adverse effects, reduce the fall of the quality of life、Karnofasky score by the chemotherapy, all of these show that electric acupuncture to a certain extent can improve the immune function for patients in the palliative chemotherapy。...
