Curcuma longa L. is from Curcuma roots, and is mainly planted in Sichuan, Fujian, Guangdong provinces. Collected on the "Chinese Pharmacopoeia" (2010 edition). The Curcuma tropism of taste is acrid, bitter, warm, adscription to spleen and liver. Curcuma is activating blood and circμlation supplementing Qi, pass through the analgesic effect, mainly used in pleurodynia, Amenorrhea,Zheng Jia, rheumatism shoμlder and arm pain (arthralgia attending upper limb), or flutter swelling, heart, chest, threatening, abdominal pain all due to blood stasis.Because of market demand of the Curcuma amount is growing, and wild resources are scarce, the quality of cμltivated turmeric is uneven, and therefore, this topic selection has one hundred years of cμltivation history from the sichuan Qian Wei Curcuma, a thorough study on its quality and evaluation, including Qian Wei producing turmeric characters, ash content, alcohol soluble composition, microstructure, TCL, and other aspects of the basic research, and Curcuma contains active ingredients-curcumin, volatile oil components of qualitative, quantitative research for subsequent planting base of Curcuma standardization in this foundation. Qian Wei Curcuma production, as well as the active ingredient contained in turmeric-curcumin, qualitative and quantitative study of volatile oils, and for the subsequent establishment of standardized Curcuma grown in this base foundation.The main contents of this paper are as following:1) Quality of Curcuma producing in Qian Wei. According to the 2010 edition of Chinese pharmacopoeia Curcuma under the provisions of the production of Qian Wei Curcuma medicinal properties, microscopy TCL, moisture, ash, extract detection, determination of Curcuma contains curcumin component the resμlts showed that the production of Curcuma herbs Qian Wei conforms to The "Chinese Pharmacopoeia" standard. In addition, this topic in 10 edition of Chinese pharmacopoeia on the basis of increased content of curcumin class other ingredients "Chinese Pharmacopoeia" determination on the increase curcumin other ingredients (Demethoxyhaleniaside curcumin, curcumin double to methoxy) measurement, make the content more comprehensive, more accurate and more persuasive.2) Using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for 11 different regions of turmeric medicinal materials quality analyses, research summarizes these Curcuma fingerprint, and 11 of Curcuma common peak mode, analyses the test resμlts, to some extent, reflects the 11 batches of curcuma the merits of the quality of medicinal materials and different origin impact on the quality of curcuma. The resμlts of the determination from a certain extent that, Qian Wei area planted turmeric better quality; which provides a theoretical basis of establishing planting base of turmeric in Qian Wei.3) using solid phase micro extraction (HS) combined with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) of 11 batches of curcuma volatile oil components in medicinal material has carried on the comprehensive analysis, the different extraction methods and determination method were compared, and finally concludes that Hubei produces curcuma detected 48 kinds of volatile organic compounds were known, Gan Su Curcuma detect 39 species,38 kinds of production in Jiangxi, Guang Xi 42 kinds of production, Yi bin produces an average of 37 species, double turmeric 46 kinds of miscarriage, Qian Wei producing Curcuma three batch samples contained the most volatile component types, on average about 50 species,11 different regions of curcumin samples contained volatile components, there are a dozen for common composition, common composition mainly aromatic ketone of curcuma, curcuma, Curcuma new ketone ketone, beta.-turmeric,. Beta red myrrhene, caryophyllene oxide, beta.-myrcene, etc. In order to further the study in Si Chuan, Qian Wei planting base of turmeric standardization foundation.4. Through all the aspects of the content determination, put forward the quality standard draft of Qian Wei production of turmeric.
