Therapeutic Observation On Post-Stroke Depression Treated By"Tiaodutongren" Acupuncture Therapy

Purpose:To observe the clinical curative effect of Tiao Du Tong Ren acupuncture therapy in the treatment of post-stroke depression.Objection:60 patients met the study inclusion criteria of post-stroke depression were randomly divided into therapy group and control group,30 cases in each group. Both groups were given support for primary disease of Western medicine treatment, the therapy group was treated with the Tiao Du Tong Ren acupuncture treatment, the control group received routine acupuncture treatment, each time for 50 minutes, once a day, continuous treatment for 4 weeks, using the HAMD scale, MESSS score, and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) symptoms scale to evaluate the efficacy of the two groups.Results:1. After the treatment,the scores of HAMD in both groups there were significant differences (P<0.05); the difference scores of HAMD between the two groups of patients there was a significant difference (P<0.05); two markedly effective rate, there was a significant difference (P<0.05), the total effective rate was no significant difference(P>0.05).2. After the treatment,the scores of MESSS in both groups there were significant differences (P<0.05); the difference scores of MESSS between the two groups of patients there was a significant difference (P<0.05); two markedly effective rate, there was a significant difference (P<0.05), the total effective rate was no significant difference(P>0.05).3. After the treatment,the scores of TCM symptoms in both groups there were significant differences (P<0.05); the difference scores of TCM symptoms between the two groups of patients there was a significant difference (P<0.05); two markedly effective rate, there was a significant difference (P<0.05), the total effective rate was no significant difference(P >0.05).Conclusion:1.Tiao Du Tong Ren acupuncture therapy can reduce the degree of depression in patients with post-stroke depression, improve clinical symptoms, beneficial neurological rehabilitation, and achieved satisfactory clinical efficacy.2.Tiao Du Tong Ren acupuncture therapy apoplectic depression better than conventional acupuncture, in terms of depression after stroke occupy many advantages, worthy of clinical application.
