Objective: Discussion on the age of patients with epithelial ovarian cancer, FIGO staging, pathological type, histological grade, residual tumor size, preoperative CA125 level, chemotherapy the total number of courses, psychological intervention for prognosis and for the treatment of ovarian cancer and improve the prognosis and provide the basis. Methods: Collected in 2008 January to December 2011 in Xinjiang Medical University First Affiliated Hospital of Department of gynaecology treated 103 cases of epithelial ovarian cancer patients with clinical data, including age, FIGO staging, pathological type, histological grade, residual tumor size, preoperative CA125 level, chemotherapy the total number of courses, psychological intervention, and the were follow-up phone calls, to get their prognosis. Result: Univariate analysis showed that patients age, FIGO stage, preoperative CA125 levels, histological grade, residual tumor size, psychological intervention with the patient’s prognosis closely(P < 0.05). Pathological types and chemotherapy the total number of courses on the prognosis of no effect(P > 0.05). Multivariate analysis showed, FIGO staging(RR=6.694,95%CI:4.305-10.409, P < 0.001), residual tumor size(RR=2.023,95%CI:1.084-3.778, P = 0.027) and histological grade(RR=0.316,95%CI:0.191-0.521, P < 0.001), preoperative CA125 levels(RR=3.704,95%CI:1.411-9.723, P = 0.008) are independent factors for the prognosis of epithelial ovarian cancer. Age, psychological intervention is epithelial ovarian cancer prognosis independent factors. Conclusion: Are many factors that influence the prognosis of epithelial ovarian carcinoma, including FIGO staging, residual tumor size, histological grade, preoperative CA125 levels are independent factors for the prognosis of epithelial ovarian cancer. So, early discovery, early diagnosis, radical surgical treatment is to improve the prognosis of the fundamental.
