Allergen Detection Result Analysis Of 958 Patients With Urticaria In Yanbian Area

Objective:To investigate the distribution and kinds of allergens in patients with urticaria in Yanbian area. The objective of this study is to provide reference for prevention and treatment of the urticaria.Methods:The levels of serum specific ige and total ige antibodies of 958 patients with urticaria were detected by Department of Dermatology of Yanbian Hospital with mediwiss-allergyscreen during September 2013 to March 2016. EXCEL and SPSS 17.0 were utilized for statistical analysis.Results:(1) Among the 958 patients, the serum total ige positive cases were 784 and the positive rate of serum total ige was 82%. The male cases were 352 account for 83%, female cases were 432 account for 81%. There was no significant difference between male group and female group (P>0.05). (2) The number of cases who were sensitive to one kind allergen were 228, account for 24%; to two kinds of allergen wre 111, account for 12%; to three kinds of allergen were 61, account for 6%; greater than or equal to four kinds of allergen were 94, account for 10%(3) In Yanbian area cow’s milk, cashew nut, shrimp were the most common allergens that cause urticaria by ingestion pathway, and house dust mite, molds, dog fur were the most common allergens that cause urticaria by inhalation pathway. (4) Allergen positive rate of cockroach, cow’s milk, cat fur and egg white of male group were higher than female group. (5) Allergen positive rate of House dust mite, short ragweed, amaranth, cockroaches and mulberry of adult group were higher than children group and teenager group. Allergen positive rate of cow’s milk, cat fur, dog fur and egg white of children group were higher than adult group and teenager group. Allergen positive rate of beef of teenager group were higher than adult group and children group.Conclusion:1. In Yanbian there was no significant difference of total igE between male and female group.2. In the Yanbian area the common allergens that cause urticarial were house dust mite, molds and dog fur. The House dust mite is a major allergen that causes urticaria by inhalation pathway and Cow’s milk is a major allergen that causes urticaria by ingestion pathway.3. In summary the positive rate of inhalation allergens were higher than food allergens.4. As the urticaria patient get old the positive rate of food allergens are decreasing and the positive rate of inhalation allergens are increasing.
