Research About The Quality Of The Medical Ultrasonic Imaging Examination Reports

With the progress of science and technology, medical technology also gets continuous development. Medical imaging technology is becoming mature and perfect, ultrasonic diagnosis plays a more and more important and irreplaceable role in medical diagnosis. For client, for hospitals and for industry regulations, the quality evaluation and control of the ultrasonic diagnosis all have very important significance. The quality of ultrasonic diagnosis can be divided into process quality and the results quality. Process quality includes all aspects of factors such as checking the doctor’s actions, environment of the checking process and the satisfaction of patients. Results quality is mainly about the quality of the ultrasonic imaging examination reports.In this paper, we have carried on the detailed analysis of the quality of the ultrasound imaging examination reports by the tool, house of quality (HOQ) with QFD method, to build an evaluation indexes system of the quality of the ultrasonic examination reports. First, this paper analyzed the users’demands and their relative importance of demands. Users’demands can be divided into "accuracy requirements" and’"complete demand". And then, we extracted the quality features of ultrasonic imaging examination reports.At last, we build the HOQ to compute the weight values of the quality features and got the quality evaluation indexes system of ultrasound imaging examination reports. The indexes system have 4 criteria level indicators, named "information profile", "Writing standard", "Quality of results" and "Resource base". The indexes system have 11 indicators.Based on the quality evaluation indexes system, we built the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model to evaluate the quality of ultrasonic imaging examination reports. We chose 100 sample reports from the the University faculty’s examination reports to do the empirical research. Model result is consistent with the actual result. We found that the electronic trend of ultrasonic imaging examination reports has a huge impact on the quality of the reports, so we gave three suggestions. The first recommendations is to add colloquial described bar which can meet patients demand; the second is to add the column of suggestions; the last one is to develop dynamic image storage system to show the image dynamically.
