Kidney stones are also known as renal calculi, urinary calculi, urinary tract stone disease, nephrolithiasis, urolithiasis and ureterolithiasis.Now the ESWL is one of principal method for urolithasia. The first machine was used in clinical practice in 1980. ESWL is widely used in the treatment of urinary stones. This method is safe^ economical effective and reliable and can repeat the treatment for recurrent stones. ESWL is low cost of hospitalization or no hospitalization. The larger stones are broken into multiple pieces and have Sharp edges. It is easy to cause local damage. At the same time, The extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy exist hematuria-. abdominal pain、renal colic、stone urinary tract infection、 renal abscess and other complications. Sometimes, the renal function is compromised or there is intractable pain or vomiting. After the ESWL, so we must take measures to exclude the stones and reduce the damage as soon as possible. ESWL treatment of postoperative treatment with drugs is an effective measure to reduce the complications. To promote stone discharge and improve the row of stone rate, numerous studies confirm that ESWL postoperative medical treatment of the stones have a good effect in the clinical treatment. So the Integrative Medicine of urinary calculi has important practical significance.To observe the overall efficacy of Yiqi row of stone decoction using Chinese medicine differential diagnose and complementary treatment to ESWL in the removal of upper urinary tract. Confirmed the decoction has a good effect in the treatment of urinary tract stones.This test is designed to investigate whether the extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy combining with Yiqi row of stone decoction postoperative can improve postoperative clinical symptoms and reduce the incidence of complications to the patients of kidney deficiency and blood stasis. Ultimately achieve the purpose of improving stone expulsion rate and promoting stone discharge and improving the quality of life of patients.MethodsCollect 60 cases of outpatients of kidney deficiency and blood stasis from Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Guangzhou, in line with the diagnostic criteria of urinary stones and indications of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy. They were randomly divided into treatment group of 30 patients and the control group of 30 patients, two groups after ESWL were both given symptomatic treatment, the treatment group received Yiqi row of stone decoction after ESWL and the control group were given symptomatic treatment, The patients data was recorded of clinical symptoms, signs, laboratory tests, the incidence of postoperative complications, the cure rate and effective rate and other effects indicators before and after treatment..ResultsCompare the total effective rate and the Stone clearance rate of treatment group and control group, the Stone clearance rate is seventy percent in the treatment group and thirty percent in the control group. The total effective rate is 93.33% in the treatment group and 66.67% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05)Compare the incidence of various complications of two group.the treatment group complication rate was significantly less than the control group with statistical significance (P<0.05).Compare the symptom scores before and after treatment, between the treatment group and control group, the treatment group was significantly greater than the control group and there is a statistically significant (P <0.05).The white blood cells and red blood cells in urine was a substantial reduced after treatment and The treatment group decreased more significantly (P<0.05).ConclusionCombined with modern and traditional Chinese medicine and under the guidance of differential treatment of traditional Chinese medicine the traditional Chinese medicine can significantly improve the row of stone rate and improve patients’symptoms for example pain hematuria and reduce complications, It is an effective method for the treatment of urinary stones and there is a high clinical value.
