Clinical Research Of Banxiaxiexin Decoction In Treating Functional Dyspepsia-epigastric Pain Syndrome Of Cold-Heat Complicated Type

Objective:To observe the curative effect of Banxiaxiexin Decoction in treating patients with Functional dyspepsia-epigastric pain syndrome belong to Cold-Heat complicated type.Methods:Selecting sixty patients with FD-EPS belong to Cold-Heat complicated type, which were separated into treatment and control group randomly, both of which had thirty cases. The treatment group was treated with Banxiaxiexin Decoction and the control group was treated with Rabeprazole Sodium Enteric-coated Tablets and Mosapride. Two groups of treatment were 4 weeks. To observe and record the main symptoms, secondary symptoms, laboratory index and adverse reactions of the two groups before and after the treatment, the data is statistically analyzed to identify the advantage.Results:Four weeks after treatment, it showed that the treatment group total effective rate was 93.3% while the control group was 70.0%, and the two groups of the curative effect had significant difference (P<0.05) especially in improving the symptoms which included the sense of Epigastric pain、coldness of the abdomen、loose stools (P<0.01). The two groups also had significant difference in improving the symptoms which included upset、dry mouth、bitter taste and yellow urine (P<0.05). However, There is no statistical difference (P>0.05) between the two groups in improving gastric discomfort、abdominal fullness、borborygmus、eructation and anorexia.Conclusion:The curative effect of Banxiaxiexin Decoction in treating patients with Functional dyspepsia-epigastric pain syndrome belong to Cold-Heat complicated type was not only better than that of the control group but also had high safety, which suggested that traditional Chinese medicine had the advantage in treating patients with FD-EPS.
