Wei Jing (1159-1641), who styled himself as "Qingshu" and whose ancestor migrated to south from Qi to avoid the war at the end year of the Tang dynasty. He lived in a country named Huating in Jiaxing and then he moved to Kunshan in Pingjiang. Wei Jing died at Baoqing2years, he was given the posthumous title of dukes QinGuo. Shen Deqian, who is a scholar in Qing dynasty, honored him that he was a man who is independent and had his own opinion but did not affected by other people easily.Wei Jing was born in a family of intellectual and five generation of his family are all intellectual, many people of the family were the officer of the central government. Wei Jing attended the examination which was called "Keju" and got Number One Scholar, therefore, he also got a position in central government. He didn’t afraid the noble and the power and was sent to prison for many times because of his views on political. In Kaixi3years, he attended an action to kill Han and later on he dismissed himself from the position of assistant administrator. The time he served as an chancellor was short, the official career was ups and downs and the time he stayed at home was so long, which taffected his career at a large extend.This paper is focused on Wei Jing systematically, which deeply discuses his family, career experience and opinion on politics. Some achievements of predecessor are referred and supplements and amendments as well as viewpoints of may own are added into the paper.
