A Comparative Study Of Urban Language Ecology Between China And Kazakhstan

Language ecology are inseparable from language lives,harmonious languageecology is the need for people’s normal language life,and is the basic condition oflanguage life harmony and social harmony. Scientific monitoring and assessing forlanguage ecology are also the basic premise for responding to the contemporarylanguage ecology issues. Base on monitoring language ecology and the evaluationindex system by ZiHui Xiao and JunJun Fan. In terms of population, geography,culture, economy, language structure, language domain, language standardization,language products, education, language, attitude and language skills，it has ecologylymonitored the natural language in Urumqi and Almaty, understood its languagefeatures，hoped to exhibit the language ecology diversity of the cities between Chinaand Kazakhstan.Existing relevant research has provided a theoretical and practical foundationfor the international spread of Chinese.On the basis of previous studies it has richedthe application and practice studies for ecology language,one hand,it has triedapplying ecology language to the survey and analysis for relatively complexmulti-ethnic, multi-Language ecology language environment in Urumqi and Almaty,meanwhile,explored and studied the language life phenomenon and objectivelaws;the other hand, it has attempted to use the principle of ecology language toanalyze the characteristics of urban language ecology diversity in Urumqi andAlmaty,especially providing theoretical reference for the urban language ecologydiversity in Urumqi and Almaty.This study involves education, sociology, linguisticsand other disciplines,the methods used in the study and the conclusions would play acertain role in enriching the theoretical framework of relateddisciplines.Meanwhile,it has the extremely important practical significance andtheoretical application value in promoting Mandarin in the area of Urumqi andXinjiang,implementing bilingual strategy,developing practical language policy.Language competition and harmony is the objective performance of Urumqi andAlmaty multilingual language ecological patterns coexistence. However, according tothe study, bilingual (multilingual) harmony is the mainstream Currently. It is mainlyreflected in various languages plays a role in the inherent function of language.Social language life is in a state of relatively stable, the language attitude of public,the relationship between verbal behavior and language facts is in relative balance. Thisrelationship will continue steadily in the next longer period of time.
