Conjunctions are used quite frequently in our daily life all the time, and theusage is rather flexible. Once the conjunctions are used in a wrong way or aren’t usedin a correct way, it is not easy to be understood by the readers. Based on the currentdomestic research situation, most experts and scholars focus on the research of thelanguage itself and errors; there is little study on foreign language teaching and theconjunction "and" ontological research phase combined. Through analyzing the errorsof using the conjunction "and" sentences from Beijing Language and CultureUniversity "HSK dynamic composition corpus", the writer tries to summarize the lawand come up with corresponding strategies.The paper is divided into six chapters; the first chapter introduces the mainpurpose and significance of this paper, describes the research status at home andabroad on the conjunction "and" corpus and related background. The second chapterrefers to the conjunction "and" and the language itself, explains its semantic features.The third chapter combines the usage of conjunctions "and" and sentence errors,summarizes the error types. The forth analyzes the causes of the sentence errorsabove. The fifth chapter introduces the word "and" and the errors, how to takeeffective teaching strategies to reduce the frequency occurrence of the errors. The lastchapter concludes the ideas and innovations of this paper and summarizes theproblems of the article, gets the method to solve the problem and strives to make abetter research in future studies.
