Interrogative pronouns overlap is a means of the non interrogative usage. Atpresent, more and more scholar began to study the non interrogative usage of theinterrogative pronouns. But the research about interrogative pronouns overlap is notenough. Even though some scholars did the related research, they focus on thesyntactic function and the semantic function. On the pragmatic function, they keepfrom talking about it. I think, three dimensional grammar are all important, each oneis indispensable. The research of pragmatic function should be on the agenda, this isimportant for the teaching Chinese as a foreign language in the future.This paper will study from the three planes of interrogative pronouns overlap,especially the study of pragmatic function. The study of syntactic function andsemantic function is from two overlapping, analysis each overlapping and itsideographic features. The study of pragmatic function is from the whole function ofinterrogative pronouns overlapped and the differences of two overlapping functional.Based on the investigation of three plane of the interrogative pronounsoverlapped, I illustrated the problem of the interrogative pronouns overlap as aknowledge point in teaching class, and put forward some opinions and suggestionsfrom the teaching goal, teaching content and teaching method.
