Its formation, development and maturity are inseparable from theenvironment, historic culture and aesthetic requirements of Mongolia. In this paper,through the analysis of regional culture features, historical development, religiousfactor and aesthetic psychology of the life in Mongolia, the reason and process of theformation, evolution and development of traditional decorative patterns of Mongoliaare discussed. Through the analysis of classification and presentation modes oftraditional decorative patterns of Mongolia, the cultural connotation is deeplyexcavated, and their aesthetic orientation is analyzed. Thus, artistic rules of thedecorative patterns of Mongolia are summarized.
