The Research On Development Of Minority Festivals Under Cultural Ecology Perspective

This is a time of need festivals, not just to celebrate national festivalsand sports.Entertainment, national history, rituals, ethics, and pray,taboos and other activities have been fully developed in the festivalactivities. It ’s the mystique of the festival together with the demand of thetimes, making tourism the most important national festival, and its value isfar higher than the new festival was later created. Naadam is one of threecultural sources of Chinese civilization, which is based on the traditionalnomadic culture and primitive belief systems to the traditional threeathletics-" Hero III art" as the core content of the set of sports, clothing,food, dance, poetry, communication as one of the folk festival, which isan important part of the grassland culture, symbol of Mongolian culture.It has a long history. We should vigorously develop it at the same time andavoid occuring problems during development: due to over-exploitationand marketing operation which led to the disappearance of Authenticitycultural festival, the surrounding ecological environment deterioration,loss of national spirit and the various stakeholders conflicts and other issues. This study uses literature research method, based on the theory ofcultural ecology to explore the origin of the national festival culture, theprocess of inherit as well as the current situation of Naadam,and trying tofind solutions.This paper takes The Ethnic Festivals as research object. Firstly wedescribe the related concepts of culture ecology and ethnic festivals andsome basic theory combining domestic and foreign research results ofcultural ecology in this paper. Then through the analysis of the presentdevelopment situation of domestic ethnic festivals, we propose theuniversal problems in the development of domestic ethnic festivals andsuccessful experience of other countries in the process of ethnicfestivals;Next, we analysis the reason of the evolution of ethnic festivals,separately from the aspects of economic development, production andforeign culture. Finally, we take Inner Mongolia Naadam as a case study,and propose some related suggestions for Naadam by taking example bythe successful experience of other countries and combining with the localcultural tourism resources in Inner Mongolia, from the aspects of brandconstruction, product development and cultural ecological protectionstrategy in the process of the development.I hope this paper can bringcertain reference significance for the development of Inner MongoliaNaadam and other domestic Ethnic Festivals.
