Chinese learning expanded gradually in the world with the gradualimprovement of China’s status in the world. Chinese characters aredifferent from Europe and the United States photography inunderstanding and writing. This is an emphases and difficulty in ChineseTeaching.In the traditional way, Chinese characters teaching starting from thewriting and Chinese character component for foreigners. But we foundthat these methods has been more and more restricted teaching scheduleand teaching effect through the research on the practical teaching.This article analyzed and summarized merits, drawbacks andscopes of application though the teaching method of Chinese charactersfor foreigners. We present our own teaching method for foreignersunited Classification and the analysis for different teaching method in Aand B group. This method can improve the teaching speed, teachingeffect and it can improve the level of Chinese characters teaching forforeigners.This thesis divided into six parts:Part1: Research Review. This part point out the meaning of thetopic and introduced the research status at home and abroad about therelationship between the reading and writing, and between Chinesecultural ring and Non Chinese cultural ring. In order to put forward theauthor’s own views for various theory for put forward their own teachingideas.Part2: The evolution of Chinese characters. This article analysedthe origin and evolution of Chinese characters. The Chinese charactersalways been ideographic writing, this is the basic of the teachingmethod.Part3: The evolution of the Chinese characters teaching. We havethe Chinese characters teaching method in ancient times, but it hasdifferent characteristic in different times. In the modern time, it hasdeveloped into a relatively mature system. Chinese characters teaching for foreigners always been the weak part. In this part, we will analysesthe different times.Part4: The single character teaching. I will summarize the essenceof each theory. On the basis of our predecessors and the A and B groupcharacters in <Chinese words and Chinese characters outline level>,Iput forward four kinds of teaching methods for the single character.Part5: Compound character teaching, this part Starting from theWord formation of Chinese characters in the six categories of Chinesecharacters,and analyses the teaching of compound words. Put forwardfor synthesis character teaching method.Part6: Summary of teaching method of Chinese characters. Theending part carries on the summary to this research work. Point out theshortcomings of research results, and point out the method of Chinesecharacters teaching for foreigners need to be reform.Chinese characters are elementary units of Chinese culture. AndChinese characters are not the obstruction of learning Chinese but thefavorable factors for improving Chinese teaching efficiency. We shouldknow that a part of the compound character can not suitable for thisteaching method when the discussion of teaching method. For theseproblems, I will analysis and induction in the future.
