Comparing with other languages, the using of measure words in Chinese is a very special linguistic phenomenon, which also brings about the obsession for the learners who are learning Chinese as a second language. The duplication of measure words is one of the problems. On the one hand, a lot of other foreign languages do not have the similar linguistic phenomenon. On the other hand, Chinese ontology research on duplication of measure words is relatively simple and not yet fully applies to the teaching of Chinese as a Foreign Language. These two reasons Cause the complexity and ambiguity of the duplication of measure words, which also cause the difficulty of measure words in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.To make the learners understand the meaning of the duplication of measure words better, on the basis of the achievements of predecessors, this thesis combines of Chinese ontology research results to analyze and summer up the bias’regularity and causes and aims to get the targeted comments and suggestions through the analysis of the corpus. This thesis has three parts. The first one is about the reach on the measure words and the duplication of measure words. On the basis of real examples, this part aims to classify the problems of the form of measure words, the forms and the scope as well as the grammatical functions、the meaning and the rhetorical functions of the duplication of measure words. The second part is the analysis about the bias of the duplication of measure words. This thesis chooses119measure words from Class A、Class B and Grammatical items of the two outlines guiding the teaching of Chinese as a second language and through the analysis of the bias’examples and get the main five bias forms. Combining of foreign language teaching situation, as well as three common materials analysis, we think the reason caused bias are subject to the teachers, teaching methods, teaching materials and learner factors. The third part is the teaching strategies and recommendations. This thesis gives corresponding improvements from teachers, textbooks, teaching methods.
