This thesis is based on simulated practice of Simultaneous Interpretation takingInternational Education Technology Conference (IETC for short) as backgroundmaterial,3D Education Speech as source text.Currently, almost all studies of Conference Simultaneous Interpretation areabout academic researches. Few of them involve problems that interpreters comeacross in practice and relevant countermeasures. This thesis differs from traditionalacademic ones. It is based on author’s own simulated practice of certain material,focusing more on the practice under theoretical guidance.The thesis comes from simulated practice of SI with Texts. It evaluates thewhole simulation, concludes deficiencies and difficulties that interpreter encounterslike Inverted Sentence, Passive Voice, Long and Complicated Sentence and StrainedPerformance during the process and analyses the causes of those problems. Throughcombining practice with theory, this thesis puts forward correspondingcountermeasures like Syntactic Linearity, Salami Technique, Simplification andGeneralization.The thesis’s results improve the integration of practice and theory, help topromote author’s capabilities in Simultaneous Interpretation and serve as reference topresent and future interpretation learners.
