A Report On The Simulation Simultaneous Interpretation For Experts’ Talk Of The 3^rd Annual Global Congress Of Knowledge Economy

Nowadays,knowledge economy which is represented by “Internet Plus” and innovation has become an important economic form.To develop knowledge economy,we need to go outside to the world,which calls for qualified interpreters to introduce our development situation to the world as well as to show the world’s development to our country.The 3rd Annual Global Congress of K nowledge Economy was held in Qingdao Shangri-la Hotel from Nov.11 to 14,2016.This is the third year consecutively for Q ingdao to host this congress.The author attended the Domestic and International Experts’ Talk on “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” as a volunteer.After that,the author conducted an interpreting practice in form of a simulation conference based on this talk.The report describes the whole process of this practice and made an evaluation on the author from the perspectives of the introduction to the background,theory instruction,case analysis and the review of this practice.The interpreting simulation has strengthened the author’s understanding of interpretation and realized that to be a qualified interpreter,there is still a long way to go.Therefore,the author should continue to improve language proficiency,to enrich an encyclopedic knowledge and to develop strong psychological ability.The author hope that the problems analyzed in this report can offer some guide for the beginners to do their training and to make a better job in their interpreting tasks.
