A Reflective Report On Translation Of A Civil Judgment Paper

This report is a reflective report based on the translation process of a CivilJudgment Paper, which focuses on the dispute reasons and solutions among Hua YueBao Battery Co., Ltd, Boston-Power Inc and Boston-Power (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.This translation report mainly comprises five parts. The first part brieflyintroduces the main content of the source text and the translation report. The secondpart describes the translation task, including the background description of the task,the language feature and style of the source text. The third part is an overview of thetranslation process. It shows the preparation, translation process, proofreading andself-evaluation through the whole task. The fourth part is the most important elementof the report. Based on concrete examples in the source text, the author analyzes someof the major problems in the translation and the countermeasures to the problems. Thefifth part summarizes the translation process and the translation report, including theproblems the translator solved during translation, the advantages and disadvantages ofthe translation and the problems to be solved. The author hopes this report can offersome constructive help for other translators.
