The Alternative period of Yuan and Ming Dynasty was a continuance to therebuilding of traditional ethic relationship of China from the late of Song Dynasty when theMongolian get down to The South.At the early Ming Dynasty,though the Mongolian quitfrom the Central Plains,they migrated palace to the far north,and still combated to theMing Dynasty during Hongwu days under the name of Yuan Dynasty. For settling the hugeor even subversive threat from the Mongolian,Zhu Yuan-zhang took different strategies toattack or surrender them in different periods.Therefore,there was a state of war orconfrontation all of the time in the Hongwu ear between each other.This text focuses on the relationship between Ming Dynasty and the Mongolian ofZhu Yuan-zhang times.To figure out the historical facts and explore their causation behindof which,the author analyzed policies concerning Mongolian of Zhu Yuan-zhang fromthree aspects of military, economy and political appeaser.The strategies to Mongolian of Zhu Yuan-zhang showed on the military attackfirstly.This may explain his large scale military operations to North of the Yuan Dynasty inearly period.however,the defeat in the north of the Great Wall in1382was an indicationthat the intention of Zhu Yuan-zhang had failed to realize the aim above-mentioned merelyby military means.Thereafter,he turned to stand firmly and fight steadily militarystrategy,and eliminated political wings of the imperial family of Mongolia in order tocompress their orbit.The power of the Mongolian empire was weekend Increasingly,and hisregime to be split and disarrayed.The economic links between Ming Dynasty and Mongolia was built on a basicpremise what they are in a state of war or confrontation Almost the whole period. Forbesieging and finallysubduing Mongolian,Zhu Yuan-zhang carried out blocking policythrough migrating border residents,clearing the fields as well as controlling the frontiertrade strictly.Nevertheless,in order to woo some Mongolian,Ming Dynasty still kept insome touch with them through commerce civilly or officially. In addition to military strike and economic blockade,Zhu Yuan-zhang also especiallypaid attention to the political appeaser to Mongolian.He not only admitted the legitimacy ofYuan Dynasty,but recognized their sensible place in history.On this basis, he sent officialsto public the imperial decree and pacified to the north people of Mongolia by generousconditions on the one hand,and took a attitude of equality to the interior Mongolian onthe other hand,regardless of their identity of surrender.With vigorously converting of ZhuYuan-zhang,a large group mongols surrendered Ming Dynasty.Thus Zhu Yuan-zhang’spolicy of appeasement to Mongolian had been succeeded considerably.
