The Wei and Jin Dynasties ceramic arts are at the turning stage important in art historyChinese ancient, animal morphology of ceramic art has become the mainstream form, notonly does it fuse the social customs, religious belief and traditional culture, and the uniqueartistic language interprets the people’s aesthetic fashion. Based on the animal form in the Weiand Jin Dynasties ceramic art form as the research object,from the four elements of shape,decoration, material, color to do comparative analysis of form, revealing the performancemethod, the Wei and Jin Dynasties art form, art form, artistic characteristics etc. Finally, itapplies to modern ceramic art design practice. Study of traditional art forms needs to rely onthe social history background, in order to reveal the relationship between form and contentthrough the artistic expressions of pair of person’s world outlook, outlook on life and death,the understanding of aesthetic view. Therefore, the connotation of the research bears thetraditional spirit of the art, not only can it permeate the evolution of penetration of thetraditional ceramic art thinking, but it can offer the art form of problems and puts forwardsome new opinions as well.The Wei and Jin Dynasties have lasted for more than200years, a large number of ceramicartifacts unearthed during these periods, needing to classify objects types, in the researchmethod from the time and regional difference of comparative research, by using the method ofqualitative research, making a summary of the unearthed artifacts types, formingcharacteristic and the performance method, collecting artifacts relevant backgroundinformation. In addition, in relation to use historical research of form and connotation aboutobjects, exploring nature and evolution, to find the form in the history of culture basis. Tobegin with, a brief overview should be done about the status quo of the research for the artform of the Wei and Jin Dynasties ceramics, the definition of relevant concepts, summarizethe shortages of existing research, and put forward the theoretical significance of this researchand practical significance. The second chapter, Wei and Jin animal morphology of ceramic artmanifestation form, including the connotation of artistic form and the social condition, is theinternal reason art form. The third chapter, the main content of ceramic art forms is animalmorphology of the Wei and Jin Dynasties, this chapter is divided into three aspects ofcharacteristics of art, artistic forms of expression of phenotypic elements, art form for detailedanalysis. The fourth chapter, it is about Ceramic art expression and design practice of animalmorphology of the Wei and Jin Dynasties. According to the conclusions of this study andrelated theoretical basis for daily-use ceramic tableware design practice, and theoretical evaluation of the design practice has a significantly subsequent design studies.This essay is to evaluate the animal morphology of the Wei and Jin Dynasties ceramic artform, making a reasonable conclusion about the expressive form of art development and formfeature.Additionally, it has a significant impact on the theoretical basis in the design.
